Good afternoon everyone. It's so humid outside, you could cut it with a knife today.
This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at the Tunkhannock Assembly of God in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, where my friend, Pastor Rick Womer leads this wonderful congregation. For years, this church has invited me to conduct summer revival services and it's always a joy to hug some necks, share some laughs and preach the Word to these fine people. Please pray that God's grace, strength, wisdom and anointing will give me all that I need so that I can give all to those who attend these meetings.
Miracles. Some would argue that they don't happen anymore, but I would have to disagree with those who are of that persuasion. I see God doing miracles all the time. Just last night while I was in Walmart, the Lord provided for me in such a unique and unorthodox way. Hebrews 11: 1 says, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Not every miracle is so obvious or so readily seen, yet there are miracles awaiting on the horizon for those who will believe. Believe. Trust. Receive. I know God has something in store for you.
May your eyes be open to His goodness today.

A Message of Hope & Encouragement
Hello everyone! What a beautiful sunny July day we are enjoying in northeastern Pennsylvania. We could copy and paste this day over and over again, as far as I'm concerned.
This coming Sunday, I will be ministering at two different churches. In the morning, I will preach at Central Assembly of God in Houston, Pennsylvania, where my friend since our days at VFCC, Pastor Stephen Getchell, leads this congregation. In the evening, I will preach at my best friend's church, Loch Lynn Church of God in Oakland, Maryland. One of the great things about being an evangelist is I have the wonderful opportunity to minister all over the place and see so many of my friends. Once again, I feel the Lord leading me to preach about the encouragement and hope that comes from having a living relationship with Jesus Christ. Christ in us is the hope of glory!
On Wednesday night, I led the Bible study at my home church from Proverbs 10. Everyone happily joined in the discussion as we went from verse to verse, applying the truths of God's Word to our lives. One of the verses we discussed was Proverbs 10:11, "The mouth of the righteous is a well of life." On a hot summer day like today, nothing is so refreshing as a cold drink of water from a well of water. Just like that, may our words speak life and refreshment to those who are around us. God's Word is life. May that life flow through us to others.
Be blessed today in Jesus!

Two For Or Should I Say During One
Good morning everyone! It is a hot summer day and I must admit that I joyfully sit in the coolness of my air conditioner. Hurray for modern inventions!
This coming Sunday, I will be ministering at two different churches. In the morning, I will be ministering at Orchard Springs Fellowship in Aspers, Pennsylvania and in the evening at the Moosic Assembly of God in Moosic, Pennsylvania. Please pray that as I minister the Word of God, the hearts of those in attendance will receive the instruction of God's Word and allow it to uplift and challenge their lives.
I am reading through 1 Samuel about the rise and fall of King Saul and how it contrasts the life of the prophet Samuel who from childhood followed wholeheartedly after the Lord. The portion of scripture that stuck out to me today is found in 1 Samuel 16:4, "So Samuel did what the LORD said". Life in general for everyone would be so much better if people just followed that admonition...do what the Lord says. Do all of it...not just a portion or half, rather do everything that He says. Like Samuel, I desire to become the person who not only hears the Word of God, but is a doer of the Word of God.
May we all listen and obey that small still voice of the Holy Spirit today. God bless.

Romania, Here I Come
It's two days and counting before I leave for my missions trip to Romania. I am filled with so many emotions. Let me share the story that has lead up to this moment.
One monring last August, my evangelist friend, Greg Hubbard, asked if I would consider going to Romania with him and his wife Robyn. I told him I would pray about it. Well, it was time for my morning run, but I only got part way through it when I was overcome with tears so I stopped running to pray. In my heart, I knew that the Lord wanted me to go to Romania but I put a fleece before the Lord. I told God that if I checked my email, Greg Hubbard would have already sent a reply to the email that I had just sent him. On my computer screen, there was the email from Greg. I was going to Romania.
Fast forward a few months to March of 2013. For over a year, I had been released from all treatment concerning the breast cancer I battled in 2011. My doctors said I was doing great. However, during a routine check up, my oncologist found that not only had the cancer returned, it had spread into my bones. I was in excruciating pain in my hip and sent for another round of radiation. The question in my mind was, would I still be able to go to Romania. In talking it over with my oncologist, she gave me clearance and felt it was a wonderful thing for me to go.
I owe a huge thanks to the many who have financially given to make this trip possible. Friends, family and the overwhelming support from the people in my home church, the Green Ridge Assembly of God have covered every expense that I have had.
Greg asked if I could round up 50 pounds of candy to make gift bags for the people of Romania. The need was presented to my home church and they rallied to the cause. I suppose I delivered close to 100 pounds of candy to Greg. Green Ridge Assembly...you are the best!
I must admit to you that I feel totally inadequate to minister in Romania. I have been mulling sermon ideas over in my head. The one thing I keep coming back to is that God is faithful and He desires for the people of Romania to know Him and hear His Word. Trust me when I say, I am and will fall hard upon His grace in giving me the right words to speak.
Open air meetings, children's ministries, ladies teas, Sunday services and ministry to the gypsies and in orphanages are all part of the schedule. May Jesus touch many lives for His kingdom. Deep in my heart, I know the Lord will probably change me more than anyone else.
Please pray for Greg & Robyn Hubbard, Zach Adams and myself as we travel to Romania this Friday. Pray for our safety and that all our luggage will arrive on time with us. Mostly, pray that the Holy Spirit will anoint and empower us for the ministry that lies ahead. We will be coming home on July 8.
Thank you for standing with us in your prayers. Though we go, you play a strategic part in this time of ministry. For that I humbly say thank you.

Massachusetts Is Calling
Good evening everyone! Can I just say that I love the fact that summer is here! Yippee!
This Friday through Saturday, I will be preaching revival services at Faith Chapel Assembly of God in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Pastor James Pierce has been so kind to invite me back to this lovely church. Please pray that these services will be covered with the pwer and presence of God and that all who attend will be touched by Jesus. It is such a wonderful privilege to preach the Word of God and to know that Jesus is willing to minister to the needs that are in people's lives.
I'm reading through the Book of Isaiah. Isaiah 2:5 says, "Come and let us walk in the light of the LORD." We are living in a day and age where the darkness of in seems to be swarming our society. So many stumble through life. But as Christians, let me remind you that we are called to walk in the light of the Lord. We must allow His righteousness to visibly be seen in our lives. We much let His light steer us clear from the pitfalls that are all around us. I am grateful for the light of our Lord. It keeps us on track and allows us to find our way to Him.
Let your light shine for Jesus today!

Investing in the Next Generation
The sun is out today! It's a happy day! :)
This coming Thursday through Saturday, I will be ministering at the Penn-Del District Friends & Girls Only Retreat at the Philip Bongiorno Conference Center in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. For those of you who are not familiar with these programs, they are the junior and senior high school ministries to girls in the Assemblies of God. I love investing in the next generation! What a wonderful privilege to be able to preach and interact with these young ladies. To be able to help strengthen and solidify their relationship with Jesus...that is priceless! Please pray that the Lord will bless this retreat with His mighty presence and that all will receive a touch from Him. Also pray for the many who will be traveling tomorrow because they are calling for strong thunderstorms.
I'm reading through the Book of Daniel. A verse in the first chapter caught my eye this morning. Daniel 1:8 says, "But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself..." Did you catch that? Daniel was saying, "it doesn't matter what everyone else is doing, I want to please the Lord." That is exactly how I feel. We live in a day and age where anything goes. May God raise up Christians in this generation who have a backbone to follow hard after the Lord no matter what everyone else does. My heart has purpose because Jesus gives true life.
Blessings to you all.

To The North Country
Good morning everyone! It's another day...another wonderful gift from God.
Not too long from now, I will be leaving for my next series of meetings which begin tonight through Sunday at Community Assembly of God in Lowville, New York. Back in the early 1990's, I was the youth pastor of this wonderful church and it is a privilege to go back as their guest evangelist. Please pray that the Lord will bless these meetings and touch lives with His power.
God is good! I can't help but dwell on that thought. So many times people focus on the difficult things in life, but I would rather focus on the goodness of God. He is faithful, kind and true. His love knows no end. He gives His Spirit without measure. Think about His goodness as you walk through your day. It will surely put a smile on your face.
God bless you all.

God is in New York
Good morning everyone! It sure is a hot one outside today.
This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at First Assembly of God in New Rochelle, New York. Renewal services are such a wonderful time for people to draw closer to the Lord. Please pray that the Lord will save, heal and baptize in His Spirit. Also pray that I will have safe travels as I venture around the New York city area.
I'm reading through the Book of Job. Poor guy...he lost so much...his health, his children and his wealth. Things looked bad for Job. He poses a lot of questions as to why everything happened to him. His friends brought no comfort. Yet through it all, God had never left Job. He was watching over Job. In the end, the Lord blessed Job with so much more than he had originally lost. You might feel like Job today. Things might have turned bad in your life. I cannot promise that you will have double for what you have lost. I can tell you that God is watching over your life. He never changes and He is always good. Look to Him. Run to Him. He is as close as the mention of His Name.
God's blessings to you all.

Prayer For My Travels
Good morning everyone. Today is another gift from God.
In a short while, I will be leaving to travel on the road where I will be ministering in my first series of meetings since being diagnosed with cancer returning to my body. I will be preaching at Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God in Mount Morris, Pennsylvania. On Friday night, I will speak at a Ladies\Girls event. On Saturday, I will speak at a Girls Ministries event and on Sunday to the entire church. Please pray that the Lord will give me strength to accomplish this. Pastor John Jackson has graciously allowed me to arrive a day early so that I can rest before I begin preaching. Pray that the Lord will use the words that He has given me to touch many lives. I know that His Word will always accomplish its purpose.
Once again, I am reminded to be grateful for the small things in life. I'm enjoying the flowers that are beginning to spring up. The smell of grass after it is cut is lovely. To be able to go up and down stairs without as much pain as I has a month ago is wonderful. The food that people are still bringing me is such a blessing. The continued prayers that people say they are praying for me makes the journey that much more enjoyable. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says, "In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." Today, I am grateful.
Thank you for standing with my ministry.

South Is Good
Good afternoon everyone. We had a little tease of spring the last few days, but old man winter is coming back today. I wish he would go away...
This coming Sunday, I will be going south to minister at First Assembly of God in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where Rev. Jeff Ferguson serves as Lead Pastor. Please pray that I will speak words that will bless those who will attend these meetings and that the Holy Spirit will touch many. Also pray that my journey will be safe because they say there may be some snow this weekend.
My desk is situated by a large picture window. From there, I can often watch the clouds drift by, sometimes as a very fast speed. They come and go and change so quickly. It's things like that which make me glad for the fact that Jesus never changes. He is always the same. Each day may bring us different circumstances, but Jesus remains the same. Great comfort lies in that thought.
May your hope rest secure in His promises today.

Down to Delaware
Good evening everyone. It's the last day of meteorological winter. Yippee!
This coming Saturday and Sunday, I will be ministering at Calvary Assembly of God in Wilmington, Delaware, where my former Senior Pastor, Rev. Nick Piscitelli, now serves. It's always a joy to team up with Pastor Nick and minister to the wonderful people at Calvary A\G. On Saturday, I will be speaking at a Ladies Event and then on Sunday to the entire church. Please pray that these meetings will bring a timely word from God to all who will attend.
Ezekiel is an interesting Book of the Bible and also an interesting prophet in the Old Testament. What catches my attention is Ezekiel 33 where the Lord tells Ezekiel that he is a watchman for the house of Israel. Ezekiel 33:7 says, "...you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me." That's what I feel the Lord has asked me to be...a modern day "watch woman". I so want to hear a word from the mouth of God and proclaim it with His power and authority. May we all hear the words that come from the mouth of God, and not only hear them, but do them.
Thank you for praying for me and my ministry.

On The Road Again :)
Good evening everyone. There was a bitterly cold wind blowing outside today. It's good to remember that spring is only one month away.
This coming Sunday, I will be ministering at New Testament Assembly of God in Millville, Pennsylvania. Pastor David Rosenberger has been very kind to have me minister several times over the years that he has led this church. Please pray that the messages I speak will offer the comfort, hope and peace that only Jesus can offer to people. He is the only One who truly can change lives.
Joshua is a fascinating book of the Bible. Reading through it this week, I find the story of Caleb in chapter 14 to be inspiring. Forty years prior to this chapter, he was one of the original 12 spies that was sent into the land of Canaan. Ten of those spies brought back a bad report, but Caleb, along with Joshua had faith that God would give them the land. Now 40 years later, Caleb tells Joshua that he is as strong now as he was back then. In verse 12, Caleb says, "...give me this mountain of which the LORD spoke in that day..." His faith has never wavered. Caleb still believes that God will do what He said. I want that same faith to be in me today.
May you all have the faith that moves mountains.

Weekend of Ministry
Good morning everyone. It has become the morning ritual here to sweep away the snow that arrives overnight. I'm looking forward to spring.
This coming Saturday and Sunday, I will be ministering at The Gathering Christian Center in Carbondale, Pennsylvania. On Saturday, I will speak at a ladies function and on Sunday, I will minister to the entire church. Please pray that the Lord will use my words to encourage and uplift all who will attend these meetings.
I'm presently reading through 2 Kings. The prophet Elisha is one amazing guy. He's not concerned with what people think about him. He's just intent on doing and saying whatever the Lord wants. The anointing of God strongly rested on his life. Even when he was dead and buried in his grave, God used him to perform a miracle. I want my life to be like that. In a world that is so wishy washy, I want to have a strong backbone for God. May each of us live strongly for the Lord today.
God bless each of you.

Draw Me Nearer
Good morning everyone! Winter definitely has tightly grasped us with its grip this week. Brrrr!
This coming Sunday, I will be ministering at my home church, the Green Ridge Assembly of God in Scranton, Pennsylvania. I will be preaching a sermon from my 2013 theme verse, Psalm 73:28 which says, "But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord God, That I may declare all Your works." Sometimes it's just good for us to realize that the one thing that Jesus desires the most is that we draw near to Him. Please pray that is exactly what will happen to those who hear this message.
I'm also going to be sharing a power point presentation about my upcoming missions trip to Romania. What a wonderful opportunity the Lord has given me to team up with my good friends and fellow Assemblies of God Evangelists, Greg & Robyn Hubbard, this coming June 28 - July 8. I am very excited about ministering the Gospel in a distant land. What is so important to remember is the Gospel works in every culture because Jesus is Lord of all!
May Jesus bless each of you today!

The Word Will Go Forth
Good morning everyone! I hope everyone is staying warm on this cold winter day.
This coming Sunday, I will minister in my first church in 2013, Our Father's House in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Pastors Bob Walls & Larry Magor have extended this invitation to begin the new year at their church for the last several years. Please pray that what I preach will bless and prompt people to a closer walk with the Lord.
In the last few days, several verses from the Bible have touched my heart about God's Word being like a fire and that I am to declare it and know that God is with me. That's a comforting thought to my soul. In a day and age where so many misguided views are circulated, it's wonderful to know that the Word of God remains strong and true in the midst of such wind-blown doctrines. I count it a humbling privilege to stand up and preach the truth of God's Word. I ask that you would continue to stand with me in prayer as I swing the Sword of the scriptures.
Happy New Year to each of you and know that Jesus is still in control.
