Hello everyone. Just to let you all know, I've enjoyed the time I've had off this December but now it's time to get back to the road.
This coming Sunday, I will be ministering at River of God Church in Enola, Pennsylvania. It's become a tradition for Pastor Tim Halbfoerster to have me minister the Sunday after Christmas, which this year includes their New Year's Eve Service. Please pray that I will speak encouraging words to this congregation. They are a great church and every time I minister there, I leave blessed and refreshed.
Time...it goes so quickly. We cannot hold it rather we much use it wisely. We can look back at 2006 but never relive it. We can look forward at 2007 and not know what will come. But we can rest in the moment and the day that we have knowing that Jesus is with us. He is the great I AM...every moment of our lives. May each of the moments of your New Year be filled with His presence.
Blessings to you all.

Silent Night, Holy Night
From now until after Christmas, my preaching schedule takes a rest, one that I thoroughly enjoy. At a time when most people's lives speed up, mine actually slows down.
Perhaps one of the most beautiful Christmas songs is the one entitled, "Silent Night". I'm not so sure that first Christmas night was so silent. Surely the cry of the newborn baby Jesus was heard in that manger. The animals must have been stirring. We know the scripture proclaims the angels' praise of God. Yet in that immaculate birth, there was a silence that pierced the earth.
We live in a world bombarded by noise. It just seems that everyone constantly has something plugged into their ear whether that be a cell phone or the earphones of an iPod. But silence is a treasured thing. It is in the silence we can hear the voice of our Savior...leading us, directing our lives down His pathways. So in this Christmas season, I wish you a Silent, Holy Night where the love of God transcends and envelopes your souls.
Here is a link that I hope you all enjoy.

Thank you for standing with this ministry throughout another year. To you and your families, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!

A Christmas Tradition
Good afternoon everyone. Today was the first day I had to sweep away snow from my sidewalk. Would somebody say Brrrrrrrrr!
This coming Sunday I will do a yearly tradition. For the last several years, Pastor Rick Womer form the Tunkhannock Assembly of God in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, has extended in invitation for me to come minister a Christmas message to his congregation in the month of December. Please pray that I will tell the story of the Christ Child in a way that will bless these wonderful people.
As I was reading through the Book of Micah today, I came upon the portion of scripture in chapter 5 that describes where Jesus will be born. Verse 5 says, "And this One shall be peace." Jesus gives true peace to all who receive Him.
Peace on earth, goodwill to you, my friends.

The Season of Christmas
Hello everyone. I know that the page on my calendar has not turned to December yet but I am beginning to experience the mood of Christmas.
This coming Sunday, I have the wonderful privilege of ministering in my home church, the Green Ridge Assembly of God on Sunday morning and also on Sunday night at our annual church Christmas banquet. I have prepared two messages on Christmas. Please pray that the very familiar story of Christmas will once again challenge the hearts of the hearers of His story. Jesus, our Emmanuel has come!
My home is decorated. The tree is up. I still need to write Christmas cards. This morning, as I looked at the manger scene under the tree, I asked the Lord to help me remember what Christmas is all about...keeping Christ in it all. May that be your goal in the next few weeks.
May today be full of the true Christmas season in your life.

Thanksgiving
It's Thanksgiving week and I've already put up my Christmas decorations. I like Christmas lights.
This coming Sunday, I will minister at Central Assembly of God in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. I've never ministered here before so I look forward to the opportunity to share the Word of God with new people. Please pray that the services will encourage and draw people closer to the Lord.
Giving thanks. I'm reflecting on all that I have to be thankful for. God has been very good to me in 2006. I sense the blessing of the Lord in so many things that I can't help but have a thankful heart. As you gather with family and friends over the holiday, don't forget to thank the Lord for all that He has done and for all that He is. He is worthy!
Happy Thanksgiving to each of you. Pass the stuffing my way, please.

Beacon of Light
Hi and yawn. I'm suffering from lack of sleep. The torrential rain that northeastern Pennsylvania received last night caused major water and flooding problems up here. My basement took on several inches of water. Honestly, I want to thank God that I got home yesterday before the mess began. He watches out for me.
Beginning tonight through Sunday, I will be ministering at Beacon of Light Community Church in Old Forge, Pennsylvania. Please pray that God will bless these services with His presence. Tonight is a youth emphasis so pray that youth will be motivated to serve Jesus.
Yes...God does take care of His own. I'm reading through the Book of Psalms. Over and over, King David expressed his praise of the Lord for Him being his Rock, Refuge and Strength. Jesus really is all of those things for us and so much more. Know that He is with you today.
Blessings!

Virginia Is Calling
Good morning everyone. It's a warm November morning and believe me, I'll take it.
This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at the New Life Assembly of God in Broadway, Virginia. This church has been having a wonderful move of God since April of this year. It is a humbling experience to walk into a church where the Spirit of God is moving. Please pray that I will speak a timely word to this congregation and that God's Spirit will continue the work He has already begun.
My car had to go in for some body work this week. Someone did a hit and run episode on it last month. It's amazing what a body shop guy can do with a car. With some work and paint, it looks as good as new. That's like what Jesus does to us. The devil does a "hit and run" in our lives which causes all this damage. But when our lives our placed into the Master's hands, He makes us brand new. Food for thought.
Have a great day in Jesus.

An Unexpected Week Off
Hello everyone. It's October 31 and I'm doing yard work. I'm grateful for the unusually warm weather.
This coming week, my scheduled crusade was canceled due to the pastor's resignation so I have an unexpected week off. Those things happen to evangelists but God always takes good care of me.
Tonight, my home church will be doing its yearly Halloween outreach called Light The Night. It's a great avenue to reach out the Scranton community. For all the churches that are doing similar events, may the Lord use these outreaches to touch lives for Him.
Have a great week.

To New Jersey I Go
Hello everyone. It's a dreary Friday evening and I can hear the announcer at the stadium of our high school's football game from several blocks away.
On Sunday, I will be ministering at the New Beginning Assembly of God in Paulsboro, New Jersey, where Joe Bordenga serves as Pastor. I would ask for prayers concerning my travels on Saturday because the weatherman is calling for lots of rain and wind. Also, please pray that the Lord will move in these services and that people will have a refreshing time in the presence of the Lord.
I was reading the story about the woman with the issue of blood today. It says in Luke's version, "she could not go unnoticed". (NIV) That statement made me think about the fact that we cannot go unnoticed by Jesus. He cares for us. He see us. He watches over us. May that thought bring comfort to your soul today.
Thanks again for all your prayers.

Autumn In The Air
Hello everyone. The sun is shining, it's chilly and the leaves are pretty. Autumn in all of its glory is here.
This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will minister at the Rig Assembly of God in Rig, West Virginia where my good friends Rev. Brad & Teri Taylor serve as pastors. Please remember these meetings in your prayers. God wants to touch lives and He is more than able to do this.
God is good. He is good all the time. The reason I say that is He is answering something that I have been praying about and He is doing it in the most incredible way. When God allows delays in our prayers it doesn't mean He won't answer. That's what has happened to me. It seemed like nothing and then all of a sudden, God steps in. Perhaps you are in the same scenario. Keep trusting and praying. He hears and answers.
God's best to all of you.

Another Fall Revival
Hello everyone. It's a brisk fall afternoon and the leaves are falling to the ground. Anybody have any scotch tape?
This coming Friday through Saturday, I will be ministering at the Good Shepherd Assembly of God in Elkins, West Virginia. Please pray that the Lord will use me to minister to the people who will attend. Pray that the Word of God will touch and change lives.
My body dislikes the changing of the weather from warm to cold. Once it gets cold, I'll be better but getting their is not easy. Change in general can be like that. The changing process of like can be difficult. But once we get where God wants us to be, we often find it's not so bad. As long as God is in the changing, things will be okay.
Have a good day and God bless.

Fall Revival
Good morning everyone. It is that time of year when a chill in the air greets you in the morning.
This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering in a new place, the Mathias Assembly of God in Mathias, West Virginia. Please pray that the Lord will bless these meetings. Pray that the messages I preach will uplift and encourage all who attend. Also, pray that I will have a safe journey to this place.
The colors on the leaves are beginning to put on their yearly display. This is a beautiful season of nature. God created it all...every leaf and every color. I hope that each of you enjoy the beauty of God's creation.
Thank you for your prayers.

Central Pennsylvania
Good morning everyone. The sun is trying to peek out after a night of rain. Fall is in the air.
This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will minister in a crusade at the Hillsdale Assembly of God in Hillsdale, Pennsylvania. What is unique is another church, the Kinport Assembly of God, is joining with us and the Wednesday night service will be at their church. That's pretty cool. I think Jesus would like that very much. Unity is a key for the moving of the Spirit of the Lord. Please pray that the Lord will touch many in these meetings.
Last night, I was thinking about the words to an old chorus whose words go like this, "Sweet Jesus, sweet Jesus, what a wonder you are..." Do any of you know that song? Every now and then, some of the older choruses that I learned during my growing-up years in church creep back into my memory. Fondly I think back to those days. Yet I am thankful that we do not live on memories alone. Jesus is a present Savior. He is not an out-of-date God. He is with us today. Hold to that thought and rest in Him.
God's best to you all!

Heading Down The Road
Good evening everyone. I spent the day doing things around my house to get ready for the colder weather. That thought doesn't settle well with me.
This coming Sunday, I will minister at Glad Tidings Assembly of God in McClellandtown, Pennsylvania. Please pray that I will have a word of encouragement for this congregation. Also pray that my journey to and from will be safe.
I wonder what the Lord thinks of the leaders of the nations of this world. I think of the words of Isaiah 40:15, "Behold, the nations are as a drop in a bucket." Our God is the God of the universe, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He will reign for all eternity. Makes me glad that I'm a citizen of heaven.
Have a good one...at eternity, that is, in Jesus.

Ladies, Here I Come
Good morning, everyone. I am trying to adjust to the fact that summer is over and fall is here. I already miss summer...
I would especially appreciate your prayers this coming weekend. The Lord has given me the opportunity to be the main speaker at the Potomac District Ladies Fall Getaway on Friday and Saturday at the Potomac Park Campgrounds in Falling Waters, West Virginia. I feel that God has given me the messages to preach for the women who will be in attendance. Please join with me in prayer that the Holy Spirit will move mightily at this event. I will also be ministering at Hedgesville Assembly of God, Hedgesville, West Virginia and Marlowe Assembly of God, Falling Waters, West Virginia on Sunday.
Seasons change. Every year we watch the warm weather slip away as fall appears. I am so thankful that Jesus never changes. He is always the same. What a constant friend we have in Jesus.
His blessings to all of you today.

My Home Church
Hello everyone. The remains of Ernesto are coming up the coast today but for now there is sun peaking through out my front window.
This coming Sunday is a tradition. On Labor Day weekend for the last several years, I minister at my home church, the Green Ridge Assembly of God. Pastor Dave Twiss is gracious to share his pulpit with me and I love ministering at home. Please pray that the messages I preach will stir people's hearts to following after God. We need more of Him.
Next week, I will be on vacation at Dewey Beach, Delaware so forgive me for not sending an update at that time. I'm just so looking forward to a little R & R. The beach sounds very inviting at this time.
So God bless each of you and keep the umbrella handy.

To My Presbyter's Church I Go
Hello everyone. I hope this note finds each of you well in body and spirit.
This coming Sunday, I will be ministering at the Mill City Assembly of God in Dalton, Pennsylvania. Their pastor, Rev. James Rugg, is my friend and presbyter. (For those of you who don't know what that means, he holds a place of ministerial authority over the area ministers.) Please pray that the Lord will move and touch hearts. It is Pastor Rugg's desire to experience revival. May Jesus revive our souls this Sunday.
It feels like I am living in sermon central...by that I mean that I am working on a bunch of sermons for upcoming preaching engagements. After twenty-some years of putting together sermons, the Word of God never loses its capability of producing something new and fresh. I hope that each of you will find that freshness in the Bible as you read its life-giving words and allow God's Spirit to renew your mind.
Have a great day in Jesus!

A Sunday In New York
Good morning everyone. I am enjoying the cool morning air that is drifting through my front door.
This coming Sunday, I will minister at the Newburgh Assembly of God in Newburgh, New York. This was the last church I served as a youth pastor back in the 1990's. The church has grown and they are presently building a bigger church so we will be meeting in the rented facilities they are using. Please pray that God will bless these meetings, the double services on Sunday morning and then the evening.
My grass is dying...that is except for the weeds. Funny how those roots dig in and thrive. The only way to kill them is to pull them out, root and all. Makes me think that I need to be careful not to have roots of bitterness and the like in my life. Sometimes we need to do a little spiritual weed killing.
Have a good day and enjoy our Savior!

A Summer Tradition
Good morning everyone. It's a lovely summer morning.
This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will minister at the Tunkhannock Assembly of God in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania. This has become a yearly August tradition and I always look forward to returning to this congregation. Please pray that God will once again bless these meetings. Pray that I will preach the Word of God with power and clarity. His Word is so very awesome.
This morning, I awoke to hear the news of the thwarted terrorist attempt on airplanes flying from the airport in England for the United States. We are living in very chaotic times. Yet as Christians we can know that Jesus is our safe harbor. He said that He would never leave us or forsake us. May we rest in Him today.
Blessings to you all!

Maryland In The Summertime
Hello everyone. We have been baking here in northeast Pennsylvania for the past few days. Air conditioning is a very good creature comfort.
This coming Friday through Sunday, I will be ministering at Bethel Assembly of God in Oldtown, Maryland. It has been over 5 years since I last ministered at this church and I look forward to returning. Please pray that the Lord will bless these services. Pray that Jesus will have His way and that many lives will be changed through the power of the Word of God. Also pray that I will have safe travels.
I've just finished reading through the Books of First and Second Kings. There were some good kings and some evil kings. One of the phrases describing King Hezekiah that I love is found in 2 Kings 18:6 where it says, "He held fast to the Lord." In the day and age that we live, the world so desperately needs to see Christians who aren't wishy-washy in their faith. May each of us have an unwavering faith in the Lord.
Blessings to you all and try to stay cool!

Summer Crusade
Good evening everyone. The rain that came through northeastern Pennsylvania tonight has cooled the temperature outside. I was just enjoying the evening air.
This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at Trinity Assembly of God in Nicholson, Pennsylvania. Please pray that God will bless these meetings with His presence and peace. Pray that people will respond to the Word of God and allow the Word to impart spiritual life into their souls.
"Asa's heart was fully committed to the Lord all his life." That's a verse from 1 Kings 15. That is a great description to be said of a person. I want my heart to be fully committed to the Lord all of my life. May that too be your desire and may we strive have it lived out in each of our lives every day.
Blessings to you all!

Off To Virginia
Hello everyone. I hope you are enjoy your Thursday afternoon.
This coming Sunday, I will be ministering at Bethel Assembly of God in Front Royal, Virginia. I have preached at this church many times. They have some wonderful people in the congregation. Please pray that what I preach will be an encouragement to this church. Also remember my travels in your prayers.
This week, my home church has been conducting Vacation Bible School. How wonderful it is to see children being taught the things of God. Jesus said it best when He spoke these words, "Let the little children come to me...for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." May we pass the Pentecostal torch of faith onto this younger generation.
Thanks again for standing with me in prayer. Blessings!

Church In The Neighboring Town
Hello everyone. Today is a delightful summer day. Humidity is low and the sun is shining. I wouldn't mind having a few more days like this one.
This coming Sunday I will be preaching at a church that is just in the next town over, New Life Assembly of God in Old Forge, Pennsylvania. Please pray that the Lord will bless these services. Pastor Joe Bachman has just taken over as pastor of the church. He and his wife are good people. So this coming Sunday, I'll actually be preaching in a church that is closer to my home than my own home church.
Hope you are enjoying your day. May Jesus be near to you all. Blessings!

Home For the 4th of July Weekend
Hello everyone. First let me say thank you for your prayers concerning my esophagus. When the doctor went to stretch my esophagus yesterday, he ended up not doing that because there was no blockage. Instead he did a biopsy on it and now I'm waiting on the results of the tests. This is all in God's hands. I would continue to ask for your prayers so the doctor can find out what is wrong with my esophagus, because there still is a problem.
This coming Sunday, as has been the tradition for the last few years over the 4th of July weekend, I will be ministering in my home church, the Green Ridge Assembly of God in Scranton. It is with great pleasure that I minister the Word of God to my home church family. Please pray that Jesus will be lifted up and that people will respond affirmatively to the Word that will be preached.
We've been inundated with rain for the past several days here in northeastern Pennsylvania. The flooding of streams and rivers is wide and massive. Perhaps you are facing a flood in life. Maybe it isn't a literal river of water but some problem has flooded your life. God reminds us in Isaiah 43:2 tells us "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you." Even through the floods of life, Jesus never leaves your side. Take comfort in that today.
Blessings to you all!

On To Frederick, Maryland
Hello everyone. I feel myself dragging this morning due to a restless night of sleep last night.
This coming Friday through Sunday, I will be ministering at Victory Christian Center in Frederick, Maryland. Please pray that the messages I preach will encourage the hearts of all who attend. Pray that the Lord will touch and change hearts.
Next Tuesday, I will be going to the hospital to have my esophagus stretched. I've been having problems with it for some time. This is a procedure that I welcome to take place. I would ask for your prayers that everything will go smoothly.
Hope that you are all enjoying the lazy, hazy days of summer that are upon us. God bless!

Shuffle Off To Buffalo...Well Almost
Hello everyone. I was in the process of doing dishes and remembered that I had yet to send out my weekly e-mail and post my blog.
This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will minister at the Assembly of God in East Aurora, New York, which is just southeast of Buffalo. This is a new church for me which is a very welcome thing in my ministry. Please pray that the Lord will do amazing things. Jesus is amazing so we can expect amazing things from Him. Also, please remember me as I travel.
Cutting the grass...it is something that I am always hoping to get done in between revivals. At this time of the year, the grass seems to grow so quickly. And then I think of the words of Isaiah 40:8 "The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever." I am thankful that no matter what season of the year it might be, God's Word remains as sure and strong as ever.
Have a good weekend everyone. And thanks for all your prayers.

Off To New York
Hello everyone. I hope that you are enjoying your Thursday evening. I'm hanging out at home tonight.
This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at Gospel Assembly in Ossining, New York. What I particularly like is Sunday is Pentecost Sunday. Please pray that there will be a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit in people's lives. What our churches need today is an infusion of Pentecostal power.
I was just looking at the paintings that are commissioned by the leadership of the Assemblies of God that depict our four cardinal doctrines. The one that depicts the baptism of the Holy Spirit evidenced by speaking in other tongues depicts the fire of the Holy Spirit. How we need that fire in our lives. It produces passion for Christ. May each of you receive a fresh infilling of that power and fire in your lives.
Here is a link to the paintings I wrote about.

Sunday In Liberty
Good evening everyone. I had a long journey home from New England today. I'm always thankful for a safe journey.
This coming Sunday morning, I will be ministering at Harvest Family Fellowship in Liberty, Pennsylvania. This church has such a great testimony. It was originally a Mennonite church that was full of Spirit filled people. When the church needed a new pastor several years ago, the Mennonite Church literally handed the church over to the Assemblies of God because they felt that the Assemblies of God could provide the right pastor. Isn't that just tremendous! Hats off to our Mennonite brothers and sisters! Please pray that my message will be an encouragement to the people in this church.
I had a cancellation for Sunday night so I'll be at my home church, the Green Ridge Assembly of God, taking in the service.
I finished reading through Esther today. Haman was a dumb-dumb, if that's a word. Pride will lead to one's downfall. May we always stay humble before the Lord. It is the humble person that God will lift up.
Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend. Do I smell barbeque? God bless.

Going North To New Hampshire
Hello everyone. I just got home from being on the road. I'll be home for two days and then it is out on the road again. Yeehaw!
This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will minister at the Keene Assembly of God in Keene, New Hampshire. From previously ministering in this town, I noticed a heavy influence of the New Age movement in this area. Please pray that God will move in these services. That the people who attend these meetings will be uplifted in their faith. Pray that we will catch a glimpse of the glory of God. Also, pray for Pastor Ray Hodgerney and his wife,
Lee-Ann as they faithfully minister in this town.
I am presently reading through the book of Job. There was a particular verse that struck me this morning. Job 14:5 says, "Man's days are determined; you have decreed the number of his months and have set limits he cannot exceed." There is great comfort in this verse for it tells me that my all my days...today, tomorrow, the next one, the next one after that and so on are determined by the Lord. He holds our future. We can trust Him knowing that whatever comes our way, He already holds it in His hands. What a loving God we serve.
Hope you all enjoy today and whatever Jesus has in store for you.

Greencastle Crusade
Good morning everyone. It is a sunny one here in northeastern Pennsylvania. God is good!
This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at the Antrim Assembly of God in Greencastle, Pennsylvania. Their pastor, Rev. Rodger Berkey, has been suffering from colon cancer so I would ask that you pray from his healing. Please pray that I will be an encouragement to the people of this congregation. May the Lord do great things here this week.
To all of you who are mothers, let me wish you a Happy Mother's Day. The impact of a godly mother has on her child is life-changing. My Mom's life had that affect on me. Though she never preached a sermon, she was the best preacher I ever knew simply because of the way she lived out her love for God every day in front of my eyes.
Let me just share how wonderful the meetings were this past week at River of God Church in Enola. The Holy Spirit invaded that place. Here is a link to that church's website where you can listen or watch the sermons.

Jesus is longing to touch us and change our lives. May we let Him have His way. Blessings to you all!

A Full Week of Ministry
Hello everyone. It's been a beautiful week here in northeast Pennsylvania. It's nice to have some time to get things done in my yard. If only the grass seed I planted will just grow...
This coming week, I have a full schedule of ministry. On Friday and Saturday, I will minister at a Ladies Retreat for Christ Fellowship Church to be held at the Historic Hilltop House Hotel in Harper's Ferry, West Virginia. Please pray that I will minister to the women who will be attending. In talking with the women's ministries president, I know that she is excited about this retreat.
Then on Sunday through Wednesday, I will minister at what I consider a truly great church, River of God Church in Enola, Pennsylvania. Pastor Tim Halbfoerster has been so kind to continually invite me back to minister. God always seems to do incredible things at this church. This church is filled with worshippers. They just go after God. Please pray that during this week of services that God would explode onto the scene. Also pray for me as I travel that God will keep me safe. There will be many miles to travel.
I'm reading through 1 Samuel this week. What a contrast between the lives of Saul and David. Saul lost out with God because of disobedience. David was a man who had a heart after God. May your heart follow hard after Jesus. Blessings to you all and thanks for your prayers.

This Coming Sunday
Hello everyone. I just finished a great week of ministry at Glad Tidings Assembly of God in Clearfield, Pennsylvania. Be assured, the Holy Spirit is moving in people's lives.
Due to a very sudden cancellation, my senior pastor and a neighboring Assembly of God pastor have come to my rescue. This coming Sunday morning, I will minister in my home church, the Green Ridge Assembly of God in Scranton, Pennsylvania and in the evening at New Life Assembly of God in Old Forge, Pennsylvania. I am very grateful to each of these pastors in opening their pulpit to me in such short notice. Please pray that God will bless both these churches as the Word of God is preached.
Up and down. That's what the gas prices keep doing. The price just went down six cents in the last few hours. I am so glad that Jesus never changes. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. You can count on that one. He the Lord...always and forerver...AMEN!
Blessings to each of you.

Another Crusade
Good evening everyone. I spent the day staining my deck and my arms are a bit sunburned. At least I know that winter is past!
This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at Glad Tidings Assembly of God in Clearfield, Pennsylvania. This is a new church for me to preach at. Please pray that once again the Holy Spirit will have His way. With the 100th anniversary of the Azusa Street Revival upon us, may all Pentecostal churches allow the Holy Spirit to have His way!
I've been reading through the minor prophets. Habakkuk is an interesting book. At first, the prophet starts out complaining but by the time he gets to the end of his book, he is thanking and praising his Savior. That's a good lesson to learn. As Habakkuk 3:18 says, "I will be joyful in God, my Savior."
Blessings to all of you and thanks so much for your prayers.

He Lives
As we reflect on the upcoming Resurrection Sunday, I am reminded of the fact that Jesus lives...forevermore. And all who put their faith in Him also live forevermore.
As some of you know, both my parents passed away several years ago. This afternoon, I took flowers up to their grave. As I was placing them by their tombstones, I was so reminded of the fact that they really aren't in the ground. They are with Jesus.
The resurrection power of Jesus is so awesome. Death could not hold Him. The sting of death is broken. There is eternal life in Christ. We serve a risen Savior. The words to the hymn "He Lives" resound as strong as ever..."He lives within my heart."
Rejoice my friends as you celebrate Easter. After all, it's really about Him! Blessings!

Next Crusade
It's a sunny day outside. Only wish it was a little bit wamer. Spring took an early vacation.
This coming Sunday throught Wednesday, I will minister at Lighthouse Assembly of God in Paw Paw, West Virginia. Please pray that the Spirit of the Lord will stir the hearts of His people. We really need this to happen in the church.
I was reading First and Second Timothy. I like Timothy. I'll be glad to meet him in heaven. He seems like he was the type of preacher that could relate to anyone. That's what I would like to be....someone who can touch all ages for Jesus.
Hope you all enjoy your day in Jesus.

Onto The Next Crusade
Hello everyone. It's going for midnight on Thursday night but I wanted to get this done before I go to bed.
This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will minister at Family Worship Center in Catlett, Virginia where Joe Addison serves as pastor. Please pray that the Lord will once again refresh His people in these meetings. Pray that people will come to the services and receive all that the Lord desires to pour into their lives.
I was reading a book this week about the Asuza Revival in Los Angelos, California, which sparked the modern day Pentecostal movement back in the years of 1906 - 1908. It is good to reflect upon where we have come from but may we not live in a past move of God. The church today needs a fresh move of God, a new Pentecost. Let's not live off of yesterday's blessing when Jesus wants to do a new thing in our lives today. Do it again, Jesus!
God's peace to all of you...and a fresh touch of His Spirit.

A Crusade With Friends
Hello everyone. I am home for a few days after being on the road for 3 crusades. There is no place like home.
This coming Sunday through Wednesday I will be ministering at Calvary Assembly of God in Wilmington, Delaware. What makes this special is that the Pastor of this church, Pastor Nick Piscitelli, was the senior pastor of my home church until last year. Needless to say, I am very happy and excited about the opportunity to work along side Pastor Nick once again. Please pray that the Lord will do a new thing in this church. I know that is what He longs to do.
I am reading through the Book of Psalms. There is such comfort in those words. Let me share some of them with you. Psalm 19: 7, 8 "The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart." I so enjoy the wisdom of these verses. God's Word is perfect and as we apply it to our lives it gives wisdom and revives our soul. If you need a revival in your soul, be a student of the Word.

On To The Next Crusade
Hello everyone. It is snowing here this morning. I'm longing for spring.
This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will minister at Mannings Assembly of God in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. Please pray that the Lord will do wonderful things in our midst. Pray that people will make time to attend these services. We need to spend time with the Lord.
Just a note...this past Tuesday night, there were 8 people baptized in the Holy Spirit. This is God's outpouring of His Spirit before He returns. May many more enter into this Pentecostal experience.
God's blessings to you today. Be filled with Him!

The Next Crusade
Good morning everyone. It is a windy day outside. I'm glad I'm inside right now.
This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will minister at New Testament Assembly of God in Millville, Pennsylvania. It has been several years since I have been at this church. The pastor tells me that his people have been praying for these meetings. That encourages my heart. Please join in prayer that this will be a time of refreshing from the Lord. Pray that souls will be saved and that Jesus will have His way.
The wind. It does interesting things. It blows things around and changes the physical landscape. I thing that is what the church needs...the Wind of the Holy Spirit to blow out the cobwebs and change our lives. Come Holy Spirit, we nee Thee!
Have a wonderful day. May His Wind blow on you.

Next Crusade
Good morning everyone. I'm getting ready for one of my road days. It's a beautiful day to travel.
This coming Sunday to Wednesday, I will be ministering at the Kirby Assembly of God in Kirby, West Virginia. I enjoyed the one time before when I ministered here. Please pray that the Lord will once again bless these meetings. Pray that people will be saved, healed and baptized in the Holy Spirit.
I finished reading 2 Chronicles yesterday. What amazes me is that it didn't matter if you had a father who was a righteous king in Judah, you still had to determine if you would be a righteous king. That's just like today. It doesn't matter if you come from a godly family or not, you still personally need to chose to live for Christ. It's our choice everyday. Choose well.
Have a great day and God bless!

Upcoming Crusade
Good morning everyone. We are in the midst of a cold week in northeastern Pennsylvania. I really want spring to come now.
This coming week, I will be ministering at New Life Assembly of God in Carbondale, Pennsylvania. I will minister to the congregation as a whole on Sunday morning, Monday and Tuesday night. Sunday night is a ladies emphasis and Wednesday night is a youth emphasis. Please pray that the Lord will use His Word to touch and change lives. There is power in the Word of God.
My Uncle David passed away this past week. I was able to attend the funeral in Delaware yesterday. He was a man who lived as a servant of Christ. He left a legacy for his family. May we all do the same. May the ones who follow us call us faithful to Christ. He is the reason for living.
Have a good day, everyone. Jesus be near you.

A Weekend of Ministry
Hello to all. It is another mild winter day. Punxsutawney Phil may have predicted 6 more weeks of winter but the last few have been warmer than usual around here. My heating bill enjoys that.
This coming weekend, I will minister at 2 churches. On Saturday, I will minister at a Ladies Brunch at the Lomontville Assembly of God in Lomontville, New York. On Sunday morning, I will minister to their entire church. On Sunday night, I will minister at Calvary Assembly of God in Monroe, New York. Please pray that the Word of God will touch lives at these meetings. Also, please pray that I will have safe travels. The weather people are still not sure if a big storm will hit off the coast on Sunday.
It is hard to believe that a month of 2006 is already gone. Time keeps rolling along. May we never forget that Jesus is coming soon. May that thought touch your life today. Blessings to you all and thanks for your prayers.

Sunday, January 29
Hello everyone. The sun is out and it is warming up outside. I'd like it to warm up to summer temperatures but that's for another day.
This coming Sunday I will preach at two different churches. On Sunday morning, I will preach at the Dickson City Assembly of God in Dickson City, Pennsylvania and in the evening, I will minister at my home church, the Green Ridge Assembly of God. Please pray that the words I preach will bless and touch these congregations. Pray that the Word of God will grip people's hearts.
I've been reading through the Book of Deuteronomy this week. Chapter 11, verse 26 says, "Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse." Let's pretend that there are 2 doors in front of you. Behind one door is a guaranteed life of blessing and peace. Behind the other door is a life of misery and sorrow. It's a no brainer. You would chose the door that contained blessing and peace. Isn't that exactly what Jesus offers people today yet so many chose the other. We forfeit blessings for a curse when all we have to do is follow Jesus. The narrow way verses the wide way. God help us to walk the narrow way that leads to life.
Have a good day in Jesus. He is near.

This Coming Sunday
Good morning everyone. It is a beautiful, sunny Thursday morning. I'd like it to be about 20 degrees warmer but I'll take this anyway.
This coming Sunday I will be ministering at New Life Assembly of God in Grantville, Pennsylvania. This is a church I have never been to before. Please pray that hearts will be open to the Word of God. Pray that the sermons will touch and challenge those in attendance. Also, please pray for me physically. For the last few days, I've been sick with a cold. It would be nice to preach and not have to worry about blowing my nose every few minutes.
I've been reading through the Book of Numbers this week. Funny how the Israelites missed their first opportunity to enter the Promise Land. That makes me think. May we not miss God in our own lives or the opportunities He sends our way. Wandering around aimlessly for 40 years doesn't sound fun.
Have a good day in Jesus! Blessings!

A Whole New Experience
This computer stuff is unbelievable. Ten years ago, who would have thought that the whole world could see your opinions and beliefs through a blog. Time sure changes things.
Through this blog, I hope to share my ministry and the greatest thing I know...having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He is my reason for existing.
May God be near to each of you today.

Weekly News
Good morning everyone. I hope that you are enjoying your day.
This coming Sunday I will be ministering at Word Fellowship in Old Forge, Pennsylvania. Please pray that the messages I preach will be an encouragement to the congregation. I find that so many people need a word of encouragement in our society. Pray that Jesus will make Himself real to all who attend.
We are in the midst of a week of prayer in my home church. This is a good time for it allows opportunity to focus on the Lord and receive direction from Him. Even before the week began, I felt the Lord impress the following verse in my heart, Isaiah 42:9 "See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to you." May we allow the Lord to do a new thing, a new work in our lives. He surely wants to.
God's blessings to you all.
