Good morning. It's a rainy day outside. Most of our snow has melted from the warmer weather we've had recently and that's just fine with me.
This coming Sunday and Monday, I will be ministering at one of my favorite places, River of God Church in Enola, Pennsylvania. Every year, Pastor Tim Halbfoerster has invited me to come minister the weekend after Christmas, plus this year, I'll be speaking at their church's New Year's Eve service. What I love about this church is how ministered to I feel from being there. Please pray that the Lord will bless these services and move mightily.
It's hard to believe that another year is almost past. None of us can hold time in their hand. I am grateful that only God holds all of time and all of our tomorrows in His hands. We can rest assured that no matter what comes our way in 2008, He will be there with us. He is Emmanuel, God with us.
To each of you, I wish a year filled with the blessings and miracles of God. Happy New Year.

Merry Christmas To All
The view outside the window from where my desk resides reveals a winter wonderland. The white snow covers everything in sight. The wind whips small funnels of snow now and then. I suppose this year, at least in northeastern Pennsylvania, we will not need to dream of a white Christmas because there will be one.
It is at this time of the year, I wish to thank each of you for allowing an e-mail from me to invade your in box once a week. Thank you for taking the time to read it and then to offer prayers for me and my ministry. For every soul that was saved, every body and spirit that was healed, every person that entered into a new level of their walk with the Lord through this ministry, your prayers made you a part of that wonderful outcome. One thing I've learned over the years is that ministry is not just one individual, rather ministry flows from the body of Christ as a whole.
One night in a manger long ago, the Son of God, Jesus, was born so that all mankind could be saved. He came so that we might know God. May each of you in this holy season, know the nearness of our Savior. To you and your family, I wish you a very Merry Christmas. Jesus is the reason for the season!

Preaching Christmas
Good morning. The sun has finally come out in northeastern Pennsylvania after several dreary, snowy days.
This coming Sunday, I will be preaching at the Tunkhannock Assembly of God in the morning and the Dickson City Assembly of God in the evening. I appreciate that these local Assembly of God pastors open their pulpits to me in December. I'll be preaching Christmas messages at each. Please pray that what I say brings the true meaning of Christmas a little closer to those who attend.
I hope that each of you is enjoying this Christmas season. Remember, Jesus is the reason for the season.

Good News
Hello everyone. It's a gray December morning.
This coming Sunday, I will minister in my home church, the Green Ridge Assembly of God in Scranton, Pennsylvnaia. As always, my pastor, David Twiss, is extremely generous to hand me his pulpit. I will be preaching a Christmas message entitled, Good News. Please pray that the Lord will drive home the thought that we have Good News, the gospel story to proclaim to the world.
My heart is hanging on that thought...Good News. The good news is God's news, the gospel story. That's why Jesus came. To bring us the good news that we can be reconciled to God. My heart is moved by the thought that God so loved the world...He loved me. Emmanuel has come!
As your Christmas season begins, linger in the thought of the Good News that we possess through Jesus.

Give Thanks
Hello everyone. We had our first snowstorm of the season yesterday. I'm glad the warmer weather is melting the snow away today.
This coming Sunday, I will be ministering at Central Assembly of God in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where Pastor Cole McClenithan serves as Lead Pastor. Please pray that the services will go well and that people will be challenged by the Word of God. There is power in the Word that God has given to us.
The old chorus from the 1980's, "Give Thanks" is going through my head. The first line goes "Give thanks with a grateful heart". I suppose that line should govern our lives all year and not just during the week of Thanksgiving. As I look back over 2007, there are many things that I could give thanks for, both little and big. The blessings that flow from Jesus are many...too many to ever record. With a grateful heart, will you join me in thanks to our Savior. Worthy of all praise is He.
Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Off To Springfield
In a few hours I'll be boarding a plane to head to Springfield, Missouri for a meeting with the National Evangelists Committee of the Assemblies of God at our national headquarters. I'm a little excited...okay a lot excited! Needless to say, I didn't get a whole lot of sleep last night. Please pray that everything will go well with my airplane flights. I'd hate to miss the connection in Chicago. I'll be getting home on Saturday evening.
On Sunday, I'll be ministering at Beacon of Light Community Church in Old Forge, Pennsylvania. I'm really glad that this church is close. Pray that God will minister there.
I've got to finish packing. Blessings to you all.

One Busy Week
Good evening everyone. I wish I could say that I feel good, but honestly, my nose is plugged up and I have very little speaking voice. I'd appreciate your prayers.
This coming week is going to be extremely hectic. On Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at the Parsonville Assembly of God in Houtzdale, Pennsylvania. This is a brand new place of ministry for me and I enjoy when the Lord places me somewhere new to minister His Word. Please pray that Jesus will be exalted and people will be drawn to Him. Again, please pray for my voice and throat. Those are two very important things for an evangelist.
After that revival, I drive home on Thursday and fly out to Springfield, Missouri. Several months ago, I was invited by the Executive Presbytery of the Assemblies of God to serve on the National Evangelists Committee. This will be my first meeting. I'm excited and a little nervous. Please pray that my flight out and back will go well and that I won't do one of my infamous clumsy ways of saying something while I'm at our headquarters. I will fly back to Pennsylvania on Saturday.
So as you can see, my week is pretty full. God is good and I'm grateful for every opportunity He brings my way. Have a good one. And remember, your steps are ordered by the Lord.

Back To North Carroll Assembly of God
Hello everyone. It's nice to be home after being on the road for 19 days. I look forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight.
This coming Sunday through Tuesday, I will be ministering at the North Carroll Assembly of God in Manchester, Maryland. It was only 4 weeks ago that I conducted revival meetings. The Lord moved so mightily that the Pastor, David Olsen, invited me to return this month for another series of meetings. We are believing for the Lord to once again do great and mighty things. When people hunger for God, He always shows up. That's what we expect to happen in Manchester this coming week.
We had wonderful meetings this past week in Midlothian, Maryland. God is doing a new thing in the church. Those who will seek the Lord will always find Him. He welcomes us into His presence and when we find our way there, anything is possible. Praise God for all the wonderful possibilities that come from Him!
Ask, seek, knock!

Let's Go To Western Mayland
Good morning everyone. It is a rainy morning as I prepare to check out of my hotel.
This coming Sunday through Tuesday, I will be ministering at Trinity Assembly of God in Midlothian, Maryland. Pastor Jimmie Blair has faithfully served this congregation for many years. Please pray that the Lord will touch and transform lives. Pastor Blair has shared with me that there are many who need to be baptized in the Holy Spirit so please pray that individuals will receive this wonderful gift from God.
The leaves are finally turning colors here. I've enjoyed the colors as these leaves transform. In many ways, as Christians, our lives our like those leaves. At the moment of our conversion, Jesus transforms our lives. And yet everyday, His love is transforming our lives to be made into His image. He is creating a masterpiece in you this very day.
Blessings to you all.

I'll Still Be In West Virginia
Hello everyone. I had a beautiful ride over the mountain looking at the autumn leaves.
This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will minister at the Rig Assembly of God in Rig, West Virginia. The pastor and his wife, Brad and Teri Taylor, are good friends of mine. Please pray that the Lord will touch and transform lives. He wants to make us be more like him.
I finished reading through the book of Esther this morning. I love the part where God turns the tide on wicked Haman. That story always assure me that God is in control. He is watching over you. Blessings

Through The Mountains of West Virginia
Hello everyone. It's sure been a rainy, foggy day. It's one of those let's-just-curl up-in-a-blanket nights.
This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at Good Shepherd Assembly of God in Elkins, West Virginia. For many years Pastor Roger Foster and his congregation have warmly welcomed me into their midst. Please pray that the Lord will move in a mighty way. Please pray that people will find time in their schedules to attend the services. My journey to Elkins is a long one so I ask that you pray that my travels will be safe.
This past week, we had a Holy Ghost explosion happen at North Carroll Assembly of God in Manchester, Maryland. Let me tell you, Pentecost is alive and well in this congregation. The thing that so struck me was the hunger in people for more of God. When the genuine presence of the Lord shows up, you don't have to coax and beg people to come to church, rather they simply come with an expectancy of what the Lord will accomplish in their lives. The Bible tells us that if we will draw near to God then He will draw near to us. May we all move a little closer to Jesus that we might catch a clearer glimpse of His glory.
Be blessed in Jesus!

Let's Go Back To Maryland
Good morning everyone. It is a beautiful October morning. Somehow, I wish I could bottle this weather up and disperse it every winter morning.
This coming Saturday through Tuesday, I will minister at the North Carroll Assembly of God in Manchester, Maryland. Their Pastor, David Olsen, and I graduated from Valley Forge Christian College many moons ago. On Saturday, I will minister at a Ladies event and then is a church crusade on Sunday through Tuesday. I have received several e-mails from people in this church who say that the people are praying for these meetings. Will you join with these already prayed prayers that the Lord will do great things in Manchester.
I have been so encouraged by the Book of Daniel this week. This morning I read this verse in Daniel 5:24 which says "the God who holds in his hand your life." Jesus holds you in His hand. Our entire being springs from Him. He is the essence of life and to those who believe in Him, He gives eternal life. Today and forever, I will live for Jesus.
Have a wonderful day in Christ!

Another Weekend In Maryland
Good morning everyone. I hope you all enjoy this beautiful fall morning.
This coming Saturday and Sunday, I will minister at the Catonsville Assembly of God in Baltimore, Maryland, where my friend, Rev. Tim Baldwin, serves as pastor. On Saturday, I will speak for a ladies event and then to the whole church on Sunday. Please pray that the Lord will touch lives and do a work in the hearts of those who attend.
This week, I am reading through 2 Samuel and the life of David. He sure had his ups and downs. He had mighty military victories and numerous family crisis. But through everything he faced, the Lord was his strength. David's story has often brought comfort to me because it demonstrates that no matter what we face in life, the Lord can be our strength. His strength is made perfect when we are weak.
Blessings to you all.

Weekend in Maryland
Hello everyone. It's been a productive day. I like days like that.
This coming Saturday and Sunday, I will minister at Renewal Christian Center in Landover, Maryland. On Saturday, I will minister at a ladies event and on Sunday to the entire church. Please pray that the Lord will use me to minister to the ladies. Pray that the Holy Spirit will do a wonderful work in people's lives. Oh...and pray that I find where I'm supposed to minister. I'm hoping that the directions that Mapquest gave me are accurate.
Dr. Wood, the new general superintendent of the Assemblies of God, made the following quote:
"There is nothing worse than a dead AG church because we have no liturgy to fall back on if the Spirit doesn’t move."
Those words struck a cord with me. I don't want to be part of a dead church. May the modern day Pentecostal church be full of the power of God and not just liturgy. We need the latter rain of the Holy Spirit and we as God's people must be receptive to the moving of the Spirit in our midst. Deadness....no thanks. Here's to life in the Spirit of God!
Blessings to you all!

Off To Upstate New York
Good morning everyone. I hope that you are enjoying the day we are experiencing.
This coming Friday through Sunday, I will be ministering at First Assembly of God in Little Falls, New York. The Saturday evening service will be held in an outside tent as part of the church's outreach so please pray that souls will be reached for the kingdom of God. Pray that God's power and grace will touch all who attend.
I am reading through the Book of Isaiah. Today I was reading about the people who make idols out of wood. An idol can be anything that we place ahead of the Lord. Although many may not bow their knee to an idol, everyday people bow and worship the false gods of money, pleasure and prestige. May our hearts be wholly yielded to Jesus. May our knee only bow to Him. Great is our God! There is no god like our God!
Have a great day in Jesus!

Still In My Home Area
Good morning everyone. It's a beautiful day...to cut the grass once again.
This coming Sunday, I will be ministering at the Mill City Assembly of God in Dalton, Pennsylvania, where my friends, Pastor Jim and Dorothy Rugg give wonderful leadership to this body of believers. Please pray that the Lord will move in a mighty way. Pray that the power of God would be revealed.
I got my miracle! I had asked you to join in prayer with me and the Lord heard and answered! He is so good! And He hears our heart cry out in desperation. "Weeping may last for the night but joy comes in the morning." Those are true words. Let me encourage you that no matter how great the need, our God is greater!
I've got to run...or should I say push a lawn mower. Have a great day in Jesus.

Home...And Fine With Me
Good morning everyone. It's that time again...my grass needs cutting. Ugh.
This coming Sunday, I will minister at my home church, the Green Ridge Assembly of God in Scranton, Pennsylvania. My lead pastor, Dave Twiss, is always generous to share his pulpit with me several times throughout the year. Please pray that I will speak a word that will minister to this congregation that I love.
I don't know if you remember a few weeks ago when I said I needed a miracle. I still need that miracle. Next week, I have to deal with a very important isssue so I'm asking for your prayer, that the Lord would intervene and work things out. This can only come through Him.
Have a good day and thanks for your prayers.

Off To Newburgh, New York
Good morning everyone. I'm waiting for the fog and due to burn off so I can cut my grass.
This coming Sunday, I will minister at the Newburgh Assembly of God in Newburgh, New York. This was the last church that I served as a youth pastor before going on the evangelistic field. Pray that the Lord will bless these services and that someone will accept Jesus as their Savior.
I'm reading through the Book of Proverbs. The wisdom that is found in that book is eternal. Let me share a verse with you today. Proverbs 16: 3 "Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed." May all our ways be committed to His love and care.
Blessings!

August in Tunkhannock
Hello everyone. I've been preaching under the tent this week and my voice is strained from sweating and being in the cool evening air. That's camp meeting for you.
This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at the Tunkhannock Assembly of God in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania. This has become a yearly August tradition and I appreciate the friendship I have with Pastor Rick Womer and his wife, Rosanne. Please pray that the Lord will bless this wonderful congregation with a fresh touch of the Holy Spirit.
"I will not leave you as orphans." Those are the words that Jesus spoke to his disciples just prior to his death and resurrection. God is with us, no matter what we face in life. Friend, you are not alone.
Blessings to you all!

Camp Meeting Time
Hello everyone. I'm getting ready to cut my grass this morning.
This coming Sunday through Friday, I will be ministering under the tent at the Union Grove Camp Meeting in Hyndman, Pennsylvania. Please pray that many souls will be touched for Jesus during these meetings. Pray that the weather won't be extremely hot and that the bugs will stay away!
We've had a very hot streak of weather this week. Makes me very glad that air conditioning is around. It also makes me very glad to know that I'm on my way to heaven instead of that other place!
Keep cool and God bless!

Off To Maryland
Hello everyone. I'm in West Virginia and tomorrow I'll be going to Oldtown, Maryland to minister in a crusade on Friday through Sunday. Please pray that the Lord will touch lives and change hearts. Only He can really do that.
I did something while in West Virgnia that I've never done before. I took a tour of a cavern, Organ Cavern to be exact. Being in a cave for that long was interesting. At one point, the guide turned off the lights. It was pitch dark. You couldn't even see the hand in front of your face. It reminded me of what Jesus said about hell...it will be like outer darkness. I'm glad I belong to Jesus and am going to heaven. I'm also glad my feet are above ground.
Blessings!

Down By The Riverside
Hello everyone. I am presently enjoying sitting at my desk and watching a summer rain come down outside. The smell is wonderful!
This coming Sunday, I will be ministering at the Millersburg Assembly of God in Millersburg, Pennsylvania which is right on the Susquehanna River. Please pray that the Lord will bless and minister in these services. People need a fresh encounter with the Lord.
I'm reading through the Book of Psalms. Psalm 86 contains some very encouraging words. Let me share some with you.
"You are my God"
"...bring joy to your servant"
"...no deeds can compare with yours."
"For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God."
"...give me an undivided heart"
"I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart"
"...great is your love toward me"
"...for you, O Lord, have helped me and comforted me."
May your heart be comforted by the wonderful Words of our Lord and Savior.

Virginia In The Summer
Hello everyone. I just got done cutting the grass and washing my car. Let's hear it for cleanliness!
This coming Sunday, I will be ministering at Bethel Assembly of God in Front Royal, Virginia. I've been going to this church for many years and appreciate those in this congregation who love and support me. Please pray that the Lord will bless the meetings and that God will be exalted.
Ruth is an interesting book in the Bible. I read it this morning. Here was a woman who left everything that was familiar to her to follow here mother-in-law back to Israel and to serve the God of Israel. Her acts of loyalty, love and obedience in the face of the unknown are great examples for believers to follow today. My Mom's name was Ruth. She was a lot like the biblical Ruth.
I've got to get going. Blessings to you all.

North Central Pennsylvania
Good morning everyone. I hope your 4th of July celebrations were fun. I enjoyed the fireworks.
This coming Sunday, I will be ministering at Greater Valley Assembly of God in Sayre, Pennsylvania. It will be nice to return to this church after not being there for a couple of years. Please pray that the Lord will bless these services. This church doesn't usually have a Sunday night service so pray that people will attend.
I'm reading through the Book of Acts. Miracles, signs and wonders were the common practice back then. I still believe in a God who can do those same things today. He has not changed. His power is as available today as it was in the New Testament church. Do it again, Jesus!
Have a great day in the Lord.

My Home Church
Good morning everyone. I'm enjoying the break in the heat and humidity we've been having the last few days.
This coming Sunday, I will be ministering in my home church, the Green Ridge Assembly of God in Scranton, Pennsylvania. That's become a yearly tradition over the 4th of July weekend and one that I enjoy because it allows me to attend our church picnic. Please pray that the Lord will bless this opportunity for me to minister to my own church family.
I'm presently reading through the Gospel of John. That book of the Bible tells us that He who believes in Jesus has everlasting life. What a wonderful gift Jesus has given to those who will simply believe and receive. In fact, it's the best gift anyone could receive.
Have a wonderful 4th of July week. Happy birthday America and enjoy the fireworks!

Central New Jersey
Hello everyone. I've just arrived home this afternoon and I'm already looking to leave on Saturday.
This coming Sunday, I will be ministering at Calvary Lighthouse in Lakewood, New Jersey where my good friends, Wes & Esther Lindquist serve as Senior Pastor. Please pray that the Lord will bless these services. Pray that souls will be saved and drawn closer to the Lord.
It's official. Summer is here. As the seasons come and go, I'm reminded of the faithfulness of our Lord. Things can change so quickly but He remains the same. I enjoy summer but I know it will fade. Jesus will remain forever. May your forever be filled with His presence.
God's blessings to all of you.

Western New York
I hope that all of you are enjoying your day.
Just a note to say that this coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at the Assembly of God in East Aurora, New York. Pastor Paul Chamberlain has extended an invitation for me to return to his flock. Please pray that the Lord will somehow use me to speak His Word to those who attend.
I don't want to get into the details, but I need to ask all of you to pray. I'm facing a difficult situation and I need a miracle. For years I've preached about the miracles of the Lord. Now I personally need one myself.
God's blessings be with you all.

Not Too Far Away
Good morning everyone. It's a lovely June morning. Summer is just around the corner.
This coming Friday through Sunday, I will be ministering at the Beacon of Light Community Church in Old Forge, Pennsylvania. Pastor Joe Bachman cheerfully leads this church and it's a pleasure to work along side of him. Please pray that the hearts of all who attend will be encouraged in the things of the Lord.
Yard work. It never goes away. In just a while, I will go outside and attend to the needs of my yard. That's a little like our walk with the Lord. The Bible tells us to work out our own salvation. There is always an area to be tended. I'm grateful our loving Heavenly Father is there to help us grow and mature.
Happy weeding!

Back To Central Pennsylvania
Hello everyone. It's turned out to only be a cloudy day which for me is good because I was able to cut my grass this morning before I leave.
This coming Sunday through Thursday, I will minister at the Hollentown Assembly of God in Fallentimber, Pennsylvania. This is a church I've never ministered at before. Please pray that these meetings will touch lives for the Kingdom of God. Pray that the power of God will be revealed.
This week, I painted the floor of my front porch. Chip it, sand it, paint it. When it was done, it looked pretty good, if I say so myself. Then I started thinking how the Lord does that in our lives. We come to Him dirty, chipped and broken by the world. When He comes into our lives, there's changes. He chips away the old nature. He sands or refines us into His image. He covers us with His blood. If any man be in Christ, he is a new creation.
Enjoy your day in Jesus.

Mother's Day Weekend
Hello everyone. This beautiful stretch of weather has been so wonderful. Everything is growing and blooming!
This coming Saturday and Sunday, I will minister at the Lomontville Assembly of God in Lomontville, New York. On Saturday morning, I will minister at a women's brunch and then on Sunday to the entire church. Please pray that I will speak an encouraging word and that my Mother's Day sermon would inspire women to raise children who will pursue the Lord.
Growing and blooming. I suppose many of us have heard the old expression, "Bloom where you are planted." There's much truth to that statement. God has us exactly where He wants us to be. Wherever you are at, you can use the gifts and talents that the Lord has given you to minister to people. May we all grow into the person the Christ intends for us to be.
Have a wonderful day in the Lord.

Off To Northern Cambria
Hello everyone. I just spent the last couple days at the Pennsylvania\Delaware District Council My spirit is full from receiving the preached Word of God. How wonderful to sit and hear someone else preach. Amen!
This coming Saturday and Sunday, I will be ministering at North East Assembly of God in Northern Cambria, Pennsylvania. On Saturday night, I will speak at a women's event and then to the entire congregation on Sunday. Please pray that the Lord will minister through me. I want to be an instrument for the Lord.
I've been thinking about the goodness of God today, thanks to a wonderful sermon that Brother Charles Crabtree preached at the ordination service last night. God is good! There's no better way to describe Him. He is always good no matter what happens in life. May His goodness pass before you today.
I'm glad to be serving Jesus!

Ladies Retreat
Hello everyone. Spring has lodged in my heart. My daffodils are looking nice.
This coming Friday through Sunday, I will be ministering at a Ladies Retreat for First Assembly of God from Port Jervis, New York. It's always nice to minister at Ladies functions so pray that the words I speak will challenge all the women who attend. Also, on Sunday night I will be ministering in my home church, the Green Ridge Assembly of God.
I've been challenged to step up to the plate and remind the church to not deny the power of God in our midst. This thought is going through my spirit. May we not quench the Spirit of God but allow Him to have His way in our lives. We need the power of God more than ever.
Have a wonderful day serving Jesus.

Cancellation
Good morning everyone. I have spring fever today. The sun is shining.
Sadly, I have a cancellation in "my schedule for this coming week. Although I don't like them, it's part of being an evangelist. God always takes care of me.
I read through the book of Revelation this week. We still win in the end! Someday, we shall reign with Christ is heaven. The words of the old song are true. "It will be worth it all, when we see Jesus..." I'm waiting for that day.
Have a great day in Jesus.

Central Pennsylvania
Good morning everyone. It seems like spring has disappeared. I'm still waiting for those warmer temperatures.
This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at the Kinport Assembly of God in Cherry Tree Pennsylvania. Please pray that the Lord will move in the hearts of people during these meetings. Pray that People will be saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit. We need the power of God.
I've been thinking about a topic that I'll be speaking on in a few weeks. The thought that keeps going through my head is the following. It's easy to function instead of follow, by that I mean, it's easy to go through the motions of Christianity instead of following hard after God. Let's be people that follow hard after God. Going through the motions just isn't good enough.
Blessings to each of you.

Virginia In The Spring
Good morning everyone. It is a beautiful spring day here in Virginia.
Beginning tonight through Sunday, I will be ministering at the Assembly of God in Catlett, Virginia. Please pray that the Lord will bless these services. Also, please pray for my voice. I only had one day to rest it this week.
Flowers are blooming down here. May Jesus bloom something new in your lives today. God bless.

Spring Is Here
Hello everyone. I've been enjoying the warmer weather down here in West Virginia and Maryland. I'm hoping that spring is here to stay.
This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at Lighthouse Assembly of God in Paw Paw, West Virginia. Please pray that the Lord will move in the lives of those who attend these meetings. Pray that God will send the power of the Spirit into that place.
There are moments I stand back in utter amazement of God. Several things have happened this past week that could only be labeled at "God moments". There is nothing I could have done to orchestrate what transpired, He just brought it about. Coincidence does not exist. We serve a God of providence who causes all things to work out for the good to them that love the Lord. We are in His hands.
Blessings to each of you.

Back To Winter...
Hello everyone. After being in almost summer like weather this week, I'm back to the reality of March. It's a good thing I began my journey to West Virginia yesterday or I probably would have never made it through the winter storm that is blasting the northeast.
This coming week, I will be ministering at the Flemington Assembly of God in Flemington, West Virginia. On Saturday, I will speak at a Joy Fellowship and then revival meetings through Wednesday night. Please pray that God will move and do great things. Pray that people will see the need to be at these meetings. May Jesus be praised in them.
In March we can go from warm temperatures to winter like weather in just a few hours. I'm thankful that Jesus never changes. He is always the same...faithful and true. May His unchanging character be a solid rock in your lives today.
Have a happy one! :-)

Off To Delaware
Good morning everyone. The sun is blazing through my picture window this morning. Now if only the temperature would rise about 20 degrees.
This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at Calvary Assembly of God in Wilmington, Delaware, where my good friend, Pastor Nick Piscitelli, serves as Senior Pastor. Please pray for these meetings that God will touch and change lives. Pray that the Lord will have His way.
I finished reading through the Book of Job this week. In the last chapter, several times, the Lord refers to Job as "My servant". That's the description I want the Lord to be able to say of me..."My servant". I'm not in charge. I serve Him. I wouldn't want it any other way. Join me in joyfully serving the King.
Have a good one.

Western Maryland
Hello. It's March...yippee! One more month of winter and it's over.
This coming Friday through Sunday, I will be ministering at the Kitzmiller Assembly of God in Kitzmiller, Maryland. This is my best friend's church so not only do I get to preach the Word of God but I get to visit with her for a few days. Please pray that I will speak a timely Word that will minister to the people. Pray that Jesus will be free to do as He pleases.
Last night, I watched my first ever entire episode of American Idol. Some people sing better than others, that's for sure. What I'm glad is that the Bible just tells us to make a joyful noise to the Lord so whether you sing like an angel or sound like a fog horn, Jesus just wants to hear our praise of Him. Heaven's filtering system must be wonderful!
Have a great day in Him.

Single and Loving It
Hello everyone. The warm weather we have been having is slowly melting the snow. It gives me hope that spring isn't too far away.
This coming Saturday and Sunday, I will be ministering at New Hope Assembly of God in Dayton, Pennsylvania. On Saturday, I will be sharing at a single's seminar at the church. On Sunday, I will minister to the entire congregation in both the morning and evening. Please pray that the concepts I share about being single will encourage others to see that being single is a wonderful gift from God. Also, pray that the preached Word will challenge and change those who hear.
Nehemiah was an interesting man. As cupbearer to King Artaxerxes, he had what I would consider a somewhat cushy job, after all, he worked in the king's palace. But he swapped that job to go to Jerusalem to lead the difficult task of rebuilding the walls of that city despite the attacks of those who did not want to see that happen. Nehemiah's character and leadership were exactly what the people needed to complete this great task. I'd like to be a modern day Nehemiah...a person who builds the kingdom of God despite the attacks of the enemy of our souls. Join me and let us work side by side to complete this great commission.
God's blessings to each of you.

White Valentine's Day
You've heard of "White Christmas". We had "White Valentine's Day." Everything is white around here.
This coming Sunday through Tuesday, I will be ministering at New Life Assembly of God in Carbondale, Pennsylvania. Please pray that these meetings will bless all who attend. On Sunday night, I will be speaking at a Joy Fellowship at the church for the women.
David is one of my favorite Bible characters. In a way, I appreciate that the Bible not only includes the fact that he was a man after God's own heart, but it also lists his flaws. I can relate to that. I want to please God but there are still things that the Lord has to work on in my life. The lessons we learn from the Bible characters also let us realize that despite our imperfections, the Lord still wishes to use us to accomplish His business on earth. I'll say AMEN to that.
Have a good day in Jesus.

Around The Area
Good morning everyone. Sunny...chilly....windy...all words to describe the say outside my window.
This coming Sunday, I will be ministering at the Pentecostal Assembly of God in Hamlin, Pennsylvania in the morning and at my home church, the Green Ridge Assembly of God in the evening. It's been close to 10 years since I ministered in the Hamlin Assembly. Please pray that the words I preach will reach right to the heart of those who will be in attendance. The Word of God is energizing.
I just finished reading through the Book of Romans today. That last chapter is encouraging. Paul lists his greetings to fellow workers in the kingdom of God, men and women alike. Each of you has a place in the body of Christ. God wishes to use your own unique abilities for His work.
Have a great day with Jesus.

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
Good morning everyone. It's a quiet winter morning in northeastern Pennsylvania.
This coming Saturday and Sunday, I will be ministering at Capital City Church in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Their Pastor, Bob Mlynek, came out of the River of God Church in Enola, Pennsylvania. In fact, River of God is helping to mentor this home missions church along. Please pray that I will have a safe trip and that these meetings will bless this congregation.
I'm reading through Genesis right now. Deception, worldliness, drunkenness, sexual sin, it's all in there. Human nature hasn't changed too much in several thousand years. I'm thankful for the God of grace who offers people the ability to change when we open our hearts to Him. Grace and mercy....what a wonderful combination given to us through Jesus.
Have a great day with the Lord.

Sunday In Northeast Pennsylvania
Hello everyone. Brrrr! It's a cold one this morning. I'm grateful for heat!
This coming Sunday morning, I will be preaching in my home church, the Green Ridge Assembly of God in Scranton, PA and at the Dickson City Assembly of God in the evening. I always love preaching in my home church. My church family has been so supportive of my ministry over the years. Please pray that I will minister sermons that will edify and build up the body of Christ.
Snow. I admit I don't like it. It a nuisance to clean up and it makes traveling on the highways dangerous. This past week, I watched it snow for several days in a row. But I was thinking of the scripture in Isaiah where it says if our sins are like scarlet, God can make them white as snow. The forgiveness of Jesus brings purity into our lives. In a spiritual sense...let it snow!
God's peace to each of you.

A Famous Pennsylvania Town
Good morning everyone. It's a brisk winter morning here in Pennsylvania yet the sunshine warms the heart.
This coming week, I will be ministering in a crusade at First Assembly of God in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. Please pray that these meetings will be a spiritual shot-in-the-arm for the people in this church as they enter a new year. The pastor of the church, Chris Golembiowski, liked the idea of starting off the new year with a series of meetings. May Jesus be lifted up in this church and draw people unto Him.
We all know the phrase, "God answers prayer" but over the last two weeks I've been noticing that "God directs my prayers." There have been people that I've prayed for, who I don't usually pray for, who I have run into or heard from them in an e-mail. It's been a wonderful adventure in prayer. May each of you know that same adventure in your lives.
By the way, when I'm out in Punxsutawney, my hotel will be right across the street from where they house the world famous Punxsutawney Phil. He'll be a busy guy, or should I say groundhog in a couple of weeks.
Blessings to all of you.

The Closest Church
Hello everyone. It is a beautiful, sunny and warm day in January. The weather has been incredibly mild lately and a great savings on heating bills. Amen to that.
This coming Sunday, I will minister at Word Fellowship Church in Old Forge, Pennsylvania. This is the closet church to my home that I minister at because it is only about 2 miles away from my front door. Please pray that I will bless this congregation with a challenging Word that will cause people to be drawn closer to Christ.
God is amazing! Being an evangelist means that I deal with a unique set of problems, one of which is scheduling meetings. Rejection is something that goes with the territory yet it is not easy to take at times. I was sitting at my desk, feeling discouraged when my phone rang. It was a pastor who I had called months before who had never called me back. I thought that door of ministry was closed. Anyway...here was this pastor asking me to schedule meetings in the late spring. The amazing part is that if this pastor would have called even a month ago, I would have had to tell him that I had no time slot available then, but another pastor who tentatively scheduled that time talked with me last week about canceling his meetings. God works in ways I'll never understand. All I know is that He is God and He is in control. If He can do that for me, He can do that in your life too.
This past week, I've been working on a new website for my ministry. If you want to check it out, you can find it at www.gaylebrostowski.com I'm asking a favor...if you pull up the website and it doesn't look right on your computer. (for example...if the wording is all bunched together) could you drop me an e-mail so I can work on fixing the problem. Thanks.
God's blessings be to all of you.
