A New Ending, A New Beginning

It's snowing....again. There are people who love this stuff but I admit that I am not one of them.

This coming Sunday, I will be ministering at Word Fellowship in Old Forge, Pennsylvania. Pastor Larry Magor has invited me the last several years to minister on the first Sunday of the year. Please pray that I will speak a word that will prod people onward in their walk with Christ.

Today is the end of 2008. There are many things that fill my mind as I think about the events that transpired in the past twelve months. I am also thinking about next year. Quite honestly, I gaze with a little apprehension as to what lies ahead. Yet I know that each year, each day for that matter is a new beginning with God. It's a new occasion to test His promises and find that they are still true. I think of the line from the familiar hymn that goes "And He walks with me and He talks with me and He tells me I am His own..." I imagine that when I wake up tomorrow, those words will still be true. His mercies are new every morning.

Happy New Year and may each of you know that Jesus is faithful.

Staying Local

Good morning everyone. I'm thankful to live in the valley this morning because we are being spared the worst of the winter weather that is effecting northeastern Pennsylvania this morning.

This coming Sunday, I will minister at the Tunkhannock Assembly of God in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania. Pastor Rick Women invites me every December to share a Christmas message with his congregation. Please pray that the timeless message of Christmas will once again stir the people's hearts to keep Christ as the central focus of their Christmas season.

Thanks for your prayers for my Springfield trip. All my flights went well and the conference speakers had some great messages to share. But to be honest, I'm glad that my feet are firmly planted on the ground once again. The only flight I'm really looking forward to is when Jesus comes to take us heaven!

Flying Out To Springfield

Good morning. It's a beautiful sunny morning and I am enjoying it very much.

Tomorrow, I will fly out to Springfield, Missouri to attend the Assemblies of God National Evangelists Conference. Please pray that everything with my flight goes well. Last year when I flew out, everything that could possibly go wrong happened. Also, pray that this will be a time of refreshing for me as I get to sit and have someone preach to me.

This coming Sunday, I will preach a Christmas message in my home church, the Green Ridge Assembly of God. There is always something new to glean from the Christmas story.

As we enter the Christmas season, just a reminder to keep Christ as the central focus.

Thanksgiving Blessings

Hello everyone. The snow missed us overnight...for which I'm very glad.

This coming Sunday, I will be ministering at Beacon of Light Community Church in Old Forge, Pennsylvania. Pastor Joe Bachman is always so gracious to open his pulpit to me. Please pray that the Lord will minister at these meetings and that the body of Christ will be strengthened and encouraged.

Thanksgiving is just a few days away and my mind runs through all the many things I have to be thankful for. I am thankful for a loving Savior who has entrusted the gospel ministry to me for over 23 years. I am thankful for food, clothing and shelter. I am thankful for America, a country where freedom is offered to all who settle here. I am thankful for family and friends and the love they give to my sometimes weary soul. I am thankful for a home church who although they don't see me often have supported me for many years. But mostly, I am thankful for forgiveness and the cleansing work of Jesus in my life. All my sins are rolled away. The list just goes on and on...

As you carve the turkey this week, keep a song of thanksgiving in your heart. One more thing I'm thankful for...stuffing! God bless.

Cold Travels

Good morning everyone! Who turned the heat down outside? It's that time of the year again....

This coming Sunday, I will be ministering at Harvest Family Fellowship in Liberty, Pennsylvania. Pastor Harry Colegrove has given direction to this church since it came into the Assemblies of God a few years back. Please pray that the Lord will minister and that people will be receptive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Also pray that I have a safe journey and that snowy weather wouldn't affect my travels.

Submission is something that I've thought about this week. In some shape or form, we all submit to someone. The Bible says we should submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. (Ephesians 5:21) Submission and reverence for Christ go hand in hand. May we all learn this needed directive in our lives.

Down To Virginia

Hello everyone. It's a rainy day to be traveling.

This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at New Life Assembly of God in Broadway, Virginia, where my friends Brian and Victoria Gillespie serve as pastors. Please pray that the Lord will bless these meetings, that His Presence will touch and change lives and that I have safe travels.

Last Saturday, I had to opportunity to stop and have lunch with my former Pastor, Nick Piscitelli, and his family. It's always good to see them. They really blessed me by giving me a Magellan GPS navigation system. The thing is pretty neat. You punch in the address where you want to go, then the map and the computer generated voice lead you right to that place. I was thinking how the Bible and the Holy Spirit are like a supernatural GPS. They lead us, guide us and direct us as we journey through life. If we follow the Spirit's voice, we are never steered wrong. I'm really trying to be lead by His voice.

Another Week On The Road

Good morning everyone. There is fog outside my window this morning.

This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at the Edgewood Assembly of God in Edgewood, Maryland. Please pray that I will have a safe trip and that the Lord will do great things in the lives of those who attend.

We have certainly seen history made this past week. All authority is given by God and now we are admonished to pray for those in leadership. May God bless the USA and may the kingdom of God be expanded in our country.

New Rochelle....Here I Come

Hello everyone. I just got home today from being on the road for a few weeks. It's nice to sit at my own desk.

This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will minister at First Assembly of God in New Rochelle, New York, where Pastor S. Aubryn Barnaby leads this congregation. Please pray that the Lord will move...that people will be set free...that the Holy Spirit will go great things. Also, could you pray that I find this church without getting lost. Seriously! The last time I went to this church back in 2003, I got lost and ended up, I believe in the Bronx. I really don't want that to happen this time.

Once again, I remind you to pray for our country as we head into Election Day. May Christians "Vote the Bible" (John Hagee preached a tremendous message about this) and be lead by godly and righteous attributes in the candidates they choose. May God bless our country and may America bless God.

Back To My Home State

Good morning everyone. It's a chilly morning. Brrr.....

This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at the Parsonville Assembly of God in Houtzdale, Pennsylvania. Please pray that the Lord will touch and transform the lives of those who will be attending.

This past week, I watched part of a sermon series from John Hagee entitled, "Vote The Bible" and I also watched the video made by our General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Dr. George Wood. I whole heartedly agree with these fine brothers that Christians must vote from a Biblical standpoint. We must remember that life is sacred and someone must speak for those who cannot speak. (Proverbs 31:8) Please take the time to vote during this coming election and may God bless America.

God bless each of you today.

Still In West Virginia

Good morning. The leaves are falling here in western Maryland.

This coming Sunday through Tuesday, I will be ministering at the Rig Assembly of God in Rig West Virginia, where Brad Taylor serves as pastor. I'm asking that everyone say a word of prayer for Pastor Brad. He had open heart surgery just a little over two months ago and has just stepped back into the pulpit.

Today, I finished reading through the Bible for the 32 time. It is a timeless Word...always new and ready to reveal something never seen before. Tomorrow, I'll start all over again. I'm just thankful for the Word of God today. It is absolute truth in a gray world.

Hope that each of you has a wonderful day in Jesus.

Fall In The Appalachian Mountains

Good afternoon everyone. It's a lovely fall day. I'll be doing yard word shortly.

This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I'll be conducting meetings at Good Shepherd Assembly of God in Elkins, West Virginia. The pastor's wife informed me yesterday that the people in their congregation are having prayer 24 hours for the upcoming meetings. Please join with this fine congregation in praying that the Lord will do great things.

It seems that everyone is talking about the economy. People are lamenting the fact that their financial portfolio is taking a hit. Let me remind you about some words of our Savior. Matthew 6:19 - 21 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." (NIV) There's nothing wrong with having money, but let's not allow that to be our main concern. We need to be investing in the Kingdom of God.

Happy investing!

New Jersey Meetings

Good evening everyone. I watched a little bit of the vice-presidential debate tonight.

My next series of meetings begins this Sunday at the New Beginning Assembly of God in Paulsboro, New Jersey. Please pray that the Lord will minister with power and might in the services. Pray that I will bring an encouraging word to those in attendance and that hearts will be open to receive a fresh touch from the Lord.

It seems that the big topic of discussion is the financial status of our nation. What I'm realizing is that I don't want to hold too tightly to the things of this world. I don't want my affections to be so wrapped up in money that I lose sight of the true and greatest possession in life. My faith and hope are in Jesus. No matter who rules our country, Jesus is still the One who really is in control. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that I'm an American but more than that, I'm glad that I'm a Christian. This world is not my home...I'm just passing through. Money...sure we need it to live. But Jesus...He is life. May your life be wrapped up in Him today.

Next Revival In Sight

Good morning everyone. As I look out the window, I see the leaves beginning to turn on the trees.

This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at First Assembly of God in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. Pastor Chris Golembiowski has been very gracious to open his pulpit to me many times and I look forward to sharing the good news once again in this church. Please pray that the Lord will touch and minister to people and that people will make time in their schedules to attend these meetings.

I'm reading through the Book of Matthew. There is a story there about the wise man (or woman) building their house upon the rock and that even though the winds and waves beat against it, the house stood. We are presently watching our nation face an economic storm. Friends, let me encourage you to build your life on the Rock, Jesus Christ. He is our sure foundation even in hardships. Trust Him.

Fall Revival

Good morning everyone. There is a coolness in the air this morning.

This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania. Please pray that the Lord will bless these meetings. Pray that people will make time in their busy schedules to attend. The Lord just really wants us to spend time with Him.

This morning, I was reading through 2 Chronicles. The Lord encouraged King Asa with the following words from chapter 15, "But you, be strong and do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded!" It's easy to think that what we do for the kingdom of God is trivial or small, but know that the Lord does see our labors and they matter. Be strong today in the knowledge of our Lord.

Back To Traveling

Good morning everyone. Fall temperatures are starting to settle in. Truthfully, I miss summer already.

This coming Sunday, I will minister at a pair of churches that I haven't been in a couple of years. On Sunday morning, I will preach at Providence Full Gospel Tabernacle and on Sunday night, I'll minister at Calvary Assembly of God in Monroe, New York. It's a pleasure to return to these two congregations. Please pray that the Lord will use His Word to accomplish great things in the live of those who will be present.

I read through the Book of James this week. A phrase from chapter 4 stood out, "But he gives more grace." What a wonderful statement, one full of hope. He gives more grace. When the journey is rough and difficult, He gives more grace. When we fall, He gives more grace. When tomorrow is unclear, He gives more grace. May each of you live in His unending grace today.

International Service

Good morning everyone. I just took my morning walk and prayer. That's something I enjoy.

This coming Sunday, I will be ministering at my home church, the Green Ridge Assembly of God in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The evening service will be special for it is our quarterly International service. My home church allows a Brazilian congregation and an Indonesian congregation to use our church facilities, so between the three churches, there is always something going on in our church. Whenever there is a 5th Sunday, all three churches gather together to worship the Lord. I'm planning on preaching a message entitles, Jesus Is A Cross-Culture Lord. Pray that the Lord will bless our services.

God's blessings to each of you.

Back To New York

Good morning everyone. It's a beautiful August morning.

This coming Sunday, I will be ministering at the Newburgh Assembly of God in Newburgh, New York. This was the last church that I served as a youth pastor prior to entering the evangelistic field. It's nice to go back and see friends. Please pray that the messages I preach will touch and encourage the body of Christ at this church.

This past week, I had the opportunity to see some beautiful country in New England. All creation speaks of the glory of God. His majesty and strength is revealed in the mountains, lakes and trees. May you take a moment today and see the wonder of God all around you.

Thank you for all your prayers.

Long Journey

Good morning everyone. It's an enjoyable summer morning here in Taylor.

This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at Calvary Assembly of God in Laconia, New Hampshire. This is a brand new church for me so I ask that you pray that my ministry might be warmly welcomed and that the Lord would just have His way. I also ask that you pray my journey will be safe. I think this might be the farthest church I go to all year.

Life and death. Blessing and cursing. That are the choices given to us by the Lord in Deuteronomy, where I'm presently reading. I choose life in Jesus Christ. I choose His blessing...to be led by the Spirit of God and not the philosophies of this world. To live is Christ.

Be alive in Jesus today.

A Familiar Church

Hello everyone. It's a grass cutting day again.

This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be preaching at a church that has become very dear to me over the years, the Tunkhannock Assembly of God in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania. Pastor Rick Womer graciously opens his pulpit to me every August. Please pray that the Lord will bless these meetings and that people will be refreshed in God's presence.

Can you hear Him? He is talking. He is in the still small whisper. He is calling and wooing us to Him. I hope that each of you will hear our Savior today. Blessings!

In The Area

Good morning. It's nice to take a morning walk on a sunny summer day.

This coming Sunday, I will be ministering at the Dickson City Assembly of God in Dickson City, Pennsylvania, which is not too far from my home. It's nice to preach and still be able to stay at home. Please pray that the Lord will bless and touch people with the Word of God

Also, tonight I will be speaking to the youth in my home church at their weekly youth service. Our youth pastor, Pastor Brian Hinkley has been wanting me to do this for a while. Please pray that the youth will respond to the truth of the Word of God.

I've become very disillusioned with the evening news. I used to enjoy watching it but anymore, I find myself shaking my head at the events in our present society. But then I remember that God is in control. I just finished reading Revelation. Isn't it wonderful to know that soon, Jesus is coming for His very own and we will spend eternity with Him. That's good news...the type of news my spirit longs to hear.

Have a good day and a wonderful eternity.

The Name Above All Names

Hello everyone. I'm enjoying a few days visiting with my best friend in western Maryland. This coming Sunday,

I will be ministering at New Life Assembly of God in Somerset, Pennsylvania. Pastor Tom Kroll has been opening his pulpit to me for many years. Please pray that the Lord will minister. Sunday night is going to be a healing emphasis to pray that the Lord will touch and heal many.

I finished reading through Leviticus this morning. I read the chapter where the Israelites had to stone the man who blasphemed the Name of the Lord. Can you imagine if they did that today? There would be so many people being stoned! But that Name, the Name of Jesus is a precious, holy Name. It is this Name that is above every name. There is power in the name of Jesus.

Have a good day, everyone!

It's Hot in the South

Good morning everyone. I'm in Front Royal, Virginia right now and it is hot outside. Let's hear it for air conditioning!

This coming Sunday, I will minister at Lighthouse Assembly of God in Paw Paw, West Virginia. Please pray that what I speak will be an encouragement to the body of Christ in this church. I'm realizing that the church needs a great deal of encouragement. God is in control.

May each of you have a day that is blessed by the Spirit of God.

Virginia in the Summertime

Good evening. It is a beautiful summer evening here in northeastern Pennsylvania.

This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at the Catlett Assembly of God in Catlett, Virginia. Please pray that the Lord will come and bring a fresh, new touch for all who attend. God promised to do a new thing in our midst. This is what I'd like to see.

Tonight was my home church's ladies Bible study. We were talking about Lot's wife. She looked back. Isn't it amazing that the devil always has you looking back while Jesus tells us to move forward. Perspective in life in so important. Some choose to look back and like with the "what if's". Those who follow Jesus are encouraged to look ahead and believe for "what can be." All things are possible to those who believe.

Happy summer evening, my friends.

Home Church

Good morning everyone and Happy 4th of July!

This coming Sunday, I will be ministering at my home church, the Green Ridge Assembly of God in Scranton, Pennsylvania. It's sort of become a tradition for me to minister over the 4th of July weekend at home. I will be speaking a message entitled, "Get The Door....It's Jesus." Please pray that people will open their hearts to the love and mercy of Jesus Christ.

Last night, I sat with several from my home church at a fireworks display. (more tonight...) I love this holiday. I love the freedom the United States of America offers to me. "We hold these truths to be self-evident...that all men are created equal..." Created....by who? By our wonderful God who not only created us but set us free through the work accomplished at Calvary. Free...yes, as a citizen of America, but more importantly, as a citizen of heaven.

Happy Independence day to you all! BOOM!

Stars Retreat

Hello everyone. I hope the Lord is giving you a good day.

This coming Friday through Sunday, I will be ministering at the Potomac District Stars Retreat at thier district camp grounds in Falling Waters, West Virginia. This is for girls in third through fifth grades. Please pray that the girls will grasp the messages that the Lord has given me for them and that they will be "In Hot Pursuit of God", the retreat's theme.I also have a special prayer request. My laptop is not working right and I have to finish my power point presentations today that I will be using at the retreat this weekend. My laptop allows me to work for a few minutes and then just shuts down. Please pray that somehow God would allow my laptop to work correctly and get through the next few days.

Thanks for standing with me.

Do It Again, Lord

Good afternoon everyone. It's cloudy and comfortable here today. I'm enjoying the overcast.

This coming Friday through Monday, I will be ministering at the North Carroll Assembly of God in Manchester, Maryland. I know that people there are praying which makes all the difference in how the Lord moves. I ask that you join in and believe for the Lord to do great things in this series of meetings. Do it again, Lord!

I was reading through 1 Thessalonians this week. A big portion of this book is about the second coming of Christ. I love the verse where it says, "comfort one another with these words." Take comfort friends, Jesus is coming soon! He is coming to take us home...forever. Soon...we will be with Him and there will be no more tears, no more pain, no more sickness. Yes, take comfort, He is coming soon!

In The Area

Good morning everyone. It's a beautiful, sunny day here in northeastern Pennsylvania.

This coming Friday through Sunday, I will be ministering at Beacon of Light Community Church in Old Forge, Pennsylvania along side Pastor Joe Bachmann. Please pray that the Word of God will bring conviction, edification and encouragement to all who attend. There is power in the Word of God.

I'm reading through the Book of Genesis. Issac was the patriarch who was associated with wells. Wells were very important in Biblical times for they provided for the needs of thirsty individuals. Wells were sources of encouragement. That's what I wish to be spiritually...a well who offers encouragement to the downcast and a drink of Living Water to the thirsty. Wells....may each us be one to those we come in contact with.

Have a blessed day.

A Really Good Sunday

Hello everyone. I just finished up my meetings in New Hampshire and wanted to get this note out before I leave in the morning.

This coming Sunday, I will be preaching at my two most favorite places to minister. On Sunday morning, I will be preaching in my home church, the Green Ridge Assembly of God in Scranton, Pennsylvania. In talking with my Pastor this afternoon, Pastor Dave Twiss, we are looking forward to what the Lord will accomplish. I will be preaching about the Holy Spirit. Please pray that people will receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Then on Sunday night, I will be preaching at River of God Church in Enola, Pennsylvania. This is a church that always encourages my spirit. Pastor Tim Halbforester has been a friend since our Bible College days back in the early 1980's. (I'm dating myself....) I will be preaching about the Promises of God. Please pray that His promises will be made real in the hearts of those who attend.I've been reading through Nehemiah this week. What a great man of God he was. He models the concepts of working hard for the kingdom of God, being a strong leader for God's purposes and setting a stardand of holiness for the people of God. I want to be like Nehemiah...except in a female version! May God raise up Nehemiah's in the church today.

Peace and blessings to each of you.

Up To New England

Good morning everyone. This is the day the Lord has made....be glad in it.

This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at the Keene Assembly of God in Keene, New Hampshire. Please pray for a safe trip as I travel up to New England. (the Interstate 84 corridor in Connecticut can be very congested) Also pray that the Lord will use the words that I speak to prod people onto a deeper walk with Jesus. May we grow and learn in His ways.

Just an update on my neck. I've been going to the chiropractor for several weeks. Things were going well until a few days ago, I woke up and all the stress in my neck and upper right back was back. The doctor has given me a new pillow (it has a lower middle for the head to rest in while the neck is supported) to see if it will help. I sure appreciate all your prayers. The doctor is doing his best but I'll take Dr. Jesus' touch any day.

Blessings to each of you.

Mother's Day Weekend

Good morning everyone. It's time to cut the grass again.

This coming weekend, I will be ministering at the First Assembly of God in Lonaconing, Maryland. On Saturday, I will speak at a Mother\Daughter Luncheon. On Sunday morning, I will preach a Mother's Day message and on Sunday night, I will speak on the Holy Spirit because it is also Pentecost Sunday. Please pray that hearts will be touched and lives changed by what the Lord will say through me.

How fitting it is that Mother's Day and Pentecost Sunday are one in the same this year. I suppose nothing greater is needed than godly, spirit-filled Mothers who love their children and raise them to serve and honor the Lord. That is one of the greatest and most God-honoring jobs that any woman can have. To all you Moms on my e-mail list, I salute you.

Blessings to you all. Make sure you honor that special Mom in your life this Sunday.

New Church

Hello everyone. It's turned out to be a beautiful day.

My next meetings will be in a new church, Trinity Assembly of God in Mountoursville, Pennsylvania where Jonathan Baker serves as pastor. I am always so grateful when the Lord opens a new place of ministry. Please pray that I will bless these people with the Word of God and that they will sense the Lord's touch in their lives.

If you remember, two months ago I was involved in a car accident when I was rear ended from behind. I just wanted to let you know that because of the neck pain I had, I've gone to a chiropractor and it has helped me so very much. I know God heals and Ialso know that he uses the medical field.

Thanks for standing with me in prayer.

New York, Here I Come

Good morning everyone. It's been a beautiful week. Today, I will cut the grass...and keep cutting it for several months.

This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will minister at the Gospel Assembly in Ossining, New York where Rev. Jerry Arduini serves as pastor. Please pray that the Lord will bless these meetings. Pray that I will speak a timely word to the people. Also pray for Sunday night's services that will be directed toward the youth.

If you are like the average American, you have already felt the pinch of most prices rising. (No...this is not a political statement...) The one thing that I am hanging onto is that God said in Philippianis 4:19 "And )my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." His promise is to take care of his own. Rest in that today.

Once again, thank you for praying for this ministry. God bless.

Farther West in West Virginia

Good morning everyone. I just love warm spring days. Let's hear it for blooming flowers and budding trees!

My next set of meetings will be at the Flemington Assembly of God in Flemington, West Virginia. Please pray that the Lord will bless these meetings and that God will do a new thing in the lives of those who attend.

I was reading in Our Daily Bread this morning how God forgives and forgets. What a wonderful Savior we have who never brings up our past. He has plans for our future and doesn't dwell on what's behind us. That gives great comfort to this heart of mine.

Blessings to each of you and thanks for your prayers.

From Western Maryland To West Virginia

Hello everyone. It is spring! Flowers are blooming...robins are flying. I'm very happy! This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at Faith Assembly of God in Wiley Ford, West Virginia. Please pray that the Lord will move mightily and that God will touch people's lives. He is moving and doing a new work in those who follow Him.We had a great week of meetings in Kitzmiller, Maryland. Several people were baptized in the Holy Spirit and many were encouraged by the Word of God and touched around the altars. Jesus is so good!Have a wonderful day and take some time to enjoy spring!

Going South Again

Good morning everyone. They say April showers brings May flowers. If that's the case, we are right on schedule today.

This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at the Hiway Assembly of God in Kitzmiller, Maryland. Please pray that the Lord will bless these meetings and that people will come and hear the Word of God and allow it to change lives. There is power in God's Word!

I am grateful for you...the many who pray for my ministry as I travel near and far. You bless me and you share in the fruit of all that transpire. May you in return receive the blessings of God in your lives.

A Local Stop

Good morning everyone. It's a sunny morning as I sit at my desk. I'm still waiting for the warmer temperatures.

This coming Sunday, I will be ministering locally. In the morning, I will minister at the Pentecostal Assembly of God in Hamlin, Pennsylvania and in the evening, I will minister at the Clarks Green Assembly of God in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. Please pray that the Lord will bless these meetings and that the Word of God will challenge people's lives.

My car is in the shop for a few days getting some body work. Old parts will be replaced with new to make it look better. New for old. I like that. It sounds like what Jesus did for us. As we receive Him as Lord and Savior, He takes the old and makes it new. And every now and then, He still removes something that is damaged in my life and replaces it with something new from Him. God's body shop...not a bad place to go!

Resurrection Power

The angels cried, "He is risen!" The popular hymn sings, "He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today!" Yes, Jesus is risen and lives forevermore. The heart of Easter and the Gospel lies in this fact, death could not keep Him in the grave. Jesus is alive and reigns! Just writing that puts a smile on my face.

As we enter this holy weekend, may you and your families experience once again the resurrection power that Jesus makes available to all who seek Him.

Philippians 3:10 "I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death" (NIV)

Wind of the Spirit

Hello everyone. I have been enjoying spring weather this past week in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The cherry blossoms were coming out on the trees. :)

This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at the Mannings Assembly of God in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will come and change lives. May He be ever so welcome in all that is done in these upcoming meetings.

I've just finished a wonderful week of services at Highway Assembly of God. What I will never grow tired of is seeing the power of God come and manifest Himself in people's lives. In the Book of Acts, it says, "I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh." All flesh. That's you and me and countless other individuals who allow the Lord to simply have His way. Holy Spirit come in power and might.

May His Wind set you free today.

Off To The Potomac District

Good morning everyone. It's one of those days where there are a million things to do.

This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at the Highway Assembly of God in Fredericksburg, Virginia where Pastor Dick Jackson serves as Lead Pastor. I haven't been to this church since 2003, so I look forward to returning to this church. Please pray that once again the Lord will move with power and might and that I would be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Also pray that I have a safe trip.

Thank you for all your prayers concerning my car accident. My neck still has some pain so I would ask that you continue to pray for it. Every thing is arranged to get my Toyota Rav 4 fixed when I come home from the next two revivals. Praise God that this happened while I was home and that I had the time to make all the arrangements. Even in a bad situation, the Lord works all things out for His good. I'm just grateful that it wasn't far worse.

God's blessings to each of you.

Let's Go To Delaware

Hello everyone. I just got home this morning and will be back on the road tomorrow morning. Get in, do laundry, get out again. :-) That's the life of an evangelist.

This coming Friday through Sunday, I will be ministering at my former senior pastor's church, Calvary Assembly of God in Wilmington, Delaware. Pastor Nick Piscitelli and his family are like family to me. Having spent almost eleven years as the staff evangelist under his tenure as senior pastor of my home church in Scranton, I greatly respect him as a man of God and love him like a brother. Please pray that the Lord will bless these meetings and that I will powerfully minister the Word of God to those who will be in attendance.

Today, I finished reading through the Bible for thirty-first time and it never grows old. His word is full of life and it sustains my soul through this journey of life. The Word of God is sharp...at times it cuts away into my character. At other times, it is soothing, comforting my weary soul. It is a constant that will never change. May the Bible bring your spirit the great truths of our Savior again and again.

Blessings to you!

Down The Line To Millville, Pennsylvania

Good evening everyone. We are bracing for a big winter storm to hit overnight. Sounds like my snow blower will be getting used tomorrow.

This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at the New Testament Assembly of God in Millville, Pennsylvania. The Lord did marvelous things at this church the last time I was there but I want to see the Lord do even greater things and He can! Please pray that the Lord will pour out His Spirit without measure.

I finished reading through the Book of John today. Our Lord's ministry when He walked on this earth was phenomenal. So many lives were changed by His touch. His touch is still available today. He is a healing God...healing body, soul and spirit. May we see His healing touch flow through our land.

Blessings to you all.

Back To Crusade Ministry

Hello everyone. We have a sloppy mess outside after last night's snow, freezing rain and rain mixture. Spring sounds good right about now.

This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at the Church on the Hill in Carbondale, Pennsylvania. It's one of those times where I minister at a crusade but can also stay home. Please pray that the Lord will bless these services with His power and might.

There's a very old song we sang as I was growing up and the words go like this "I've got something that the world can't give and the world can't take it away." Perhaps I'm realizing more than ever that the things this world gives are only temporary but the lasting peace and Presence that Jesus gives is eternal. Friend, hold onto Jesus today. He is eternal and eternity with Him far outlasts the glitter of this world.

Looking forward to seeing you in heaven.

Off To Harrisburg

Hello everyone. It's an extremely windy day here in northeastern Pennsylvania. Things are blowing all over the place.

This coming Friday through Sunday, I will be ministering at Capital City Church in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It is a pleasure to work along side of Pastor Bob Mlynek. Please pray that the Lord will move in these meetings in power and might. It is only by His Spirit that this can be accomplished.

The wind is blowing! How we need the wind of the Holy Spirit to blow...ridding us of the spiritual cobwebs, blowing away all that is displeasing to Him, filling us with a fresh touch of God. Blow O Holy Spirit. Let your Wind blow!

Time To Preach

Good morning everyone. It's a beautiful sunny day outside my window.

This coming Sunday, I will minister in my home church, the Green Ridge Assembly of God in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Pastor David Twiss has always been very generous to share his pulpit with me when I'm home. Please pray that the Lord will move and people will respond to the altar call. Jesus is so waiting for us to respond to Him.

I finished reading through the Book of Numbers this week. One thing that struck me was how of their generation, only Caleb and Joshua were allowed to enter the Promise Land because they wholeheartedly followed the Lord. Reading that makes me want to wholeheartedly run after God, not just in some half hearted attempt. May each of us resolve to be passionate in our pursuit of the Lord.

May each of you have a blessed day in Jesus.

First Church Of The Year

Good morning everyone. Brrrr! It's a cold one outside.

This coming Sunday, I will minister at Word Fellowship in Old Forge, Pennsylvania. Their pastor, Rev. Larry Magor, has known me since I was a teenager and has been very gracious to allow me to minister at his church for several years. Please pray that the Lord will move and touch hearts.

I look at the events that are happening in our world, a presidential election, the Kenya riots, gas prices hitting $100 a barrel...it can all be very puzzling and overwhelming. But deep in my spirit, I hear the Lord say, "Be still and know that I am God." (Psalm 46:10) No matter what the future may hold, we have the assurance that Jesus is in control and will take care of His own. I'm holding onto that promise this year.

Have a great day in Jesus!
