Off To Harrisburg

Hello everyone. It's an extremely windy day here in northeastern Pennsylvania. Things are blowing all over the place.

This coming Friday through Sunday, I will be ministering at Capital City Church in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It is a pleasure to work along side of Pastor Bob Mlynek. Please pray that the Lord will move in these meetings in power and might. It is only by His Spirit that this can be accomplished.

The wind is blowing! How we need the wind of the Holy Spirit to blow...ridding us of the spiritual cobwebs, blowing away all that is displeasing to Him, filling us with a fresh touch of God. Blow O Holy Spirit. Let your Wind blow!

Time To Preach

Good morning everyone. It's a beautiful sunny day outside my window.

This coming Sunday, I will minister in my home church, the Green Ridge Assembly of God in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Pastor David Twiss has always been very generous to share his pulpit with me when I'm home. Please pray that the Lord will move and people will respond to the altar call. Jesus is so waiting for us to respond to Him.

I finished reading through the Book of Numbers this week. One thing that struck me was how of their generation, only Caleb and Joshua were allowed to enter the Promise Land because they wholeheartedly followed the Lord. Reading that makes me want to wholeheartedly run after God, not just in some half hearted attempt. May each of us resolve to be passionate in our pursuit of the Lord.

May each of you have a blessed day in Jesus.

First Church Of The Year

Good morning everyone. Brrrr! It's a cold one outside.

This coming Sunday, I will minister at Word Fellowship in Old Forge, Pennsylvania. Their pastor, Rev. Larry Magor, has known me since I was a teenager and has been very gracious to allow me to minister at his church for several years. Please pray that the Lord will move and touch hearts.

I look at the events that are happening in our world, a presidential election, the Kenya riots, gas prices hitting $100 a barrel...it can all be very puzzling and overwhelming. But deep in my spirit, I hear the Lord say, "Be still and know that I am God." (Psalm 46:10) No matter what the future may hold, we have the assurance that Jesus is in control and will take care of His own. I'm holding onto that promise this year.

Have a great day in Jesus!
