Good morning everyone. I enjoyed taking my walk this morning under an overcast sky.
This coming Saturday and Sunday, I will be ministering at North End Assembly of God in Northern Cambria, Pennsylvania. On Saturday night, I will speak to the ladies and on Sunday to the entire church. Please pray that the Lord will bless these services and many will be touched with the power of the Holy Spirit.
My neighbor put up a new wall right on our property line so she had the contractor plant new grass in my yard that was ripped up by the backhoe. For several days, I watered the grass seed and saw nothing happen. Finally, I went outside on Tuesday morning and there it was...new grass coming out of the ground. As I was removing rocks that had also surfaced, I thought how that is often like our spiritual walk with God. Some times, we don't see the growth in our lives and then one day, we look back and notice what the Lord has done in our lives. As long as we keep consistently feeding our spirit with the Word of God, growth will take place.
Happy growing!

To Baltimore I Go
Good morning everyone. It is a muggy day here in northeastern Pennsylvania.
This coming Sunday, I will be in Baltimore, Maryland. In the morning, I will minister at a familiar church, the Catonsville Assembly of God, where my friend, Tim Baldwin, serves as pastor. In the evening, I will minister at the Carney Assembly of God, a place where I have not been before. Please pray that the Lord will bless both of these settings with His wonderful presence.
I finished reading through the Proverbs yesterday. There are so many tidbits of wisdom found in that book.
Proverbs 28:26 "He who trusts in his own heart is a fool". That verse really blows away so much of what the media portrays as truth. The only heart we should trust is the Lord's because He is the only one who has a heart that is truly good.
Enjoy your day! Blessings.

On The Road Again
Good morning everyone. I hope you are enjoying the morning hours.
This coming Sunday, I will be ministering at Glad Tidings Assembly of God in Middletown, Pennsylvania My old Bible college friends, Pastor John and Susan Lanza have recently moved back to Pennsylvania to lead this church. This will be the first time that I have preached in this church, which is always an exciting event. Please pray that the Lord will use this time to build up and edify that body of believers in Middletown.
For most people, today is just another day, but for me, my age calendar flipped another year because today is my birthday. The years keep flying by at a much faster pace than ever before. Moses wrote in Psalm 90:12, "Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom." Good words to follow. As I grow older, I'd like to think I'm growing in the wisdom of God.
Happy July 16th to everyone!
