Returning To The Beginning

Good morning everyone. It's already getting warm outside.

This coming Sunday, I will be ministering at Faith Chapel Assemblies of God in Bridgewater, Massachusetts in the morning and Living Waters Assembly of God in Greenfield, Massachusetts in the evening. Living Waters Assembly was the very first church where I began serving as a youth pastor way back in 1985...I know, many moons ago. It will be fun to go back and see people that I haven't seen in years. Please pray that the Lord will touch lives through the Word of God that I will deliver to these congregations.

I'm reading through the Books of 1 & 2 Kings. It's interesting to see how a godly king can have a father who was an evil king. The other way is true too...an evil king had a godly father who served as king. That tells me it all comes down to a personal decision. Isn't that how it is today? We individually choose to serve the Lord, whether we come from a godly or an ungodly background. Faith cannot be inherited, it must be decided upon by each person. Although I come from a godly heritage, I personally chose today to live for Jesus and to love Him with my heart, soul, mind and strength. Chose well...chose Jesus and live.

New England Is Calling

Good morning everyone. Today is a day to get things done around my home.

This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at the Assembly of God in Keene, New Hampshire where old Valley Forge Christian College friends, Ray and Lee-Ann Hodgerney serve as pastors. Please pray that the Lord will bless these meetings and that the people will respond to the Word of God and His presence. There is so much that the Lord wants to do in the hearts of His people.

It just seems that in recent weeks, the Lord has been doing wonderful things in my meetings. People are being saved, healed and baptized in the Holy Spirit. I received the following testimony a few days ago:

"Hi Gayle, We met at New Stanton AG last Sunday. My husband had you pray for me because I was having pain and he had told you I was going in for a hysterectomy in July because of the problems I was having. One of them was non-stop bleeding since November. Since you have prayed for me the bleeding has stopped completely. Thank you for your prayer and faithfulness. I have been touched by the hand of God."
The power of God is available for here and now. Let me encourage you to rise up and grab hold of the promises of God. They are true. They are for you.

Stars Retreat in West Virginia

Good morning. The rain will be here shortly.

This coming Friday through Sunday, I will be ministering at the Potomac District Stars Retreat in Falling Waters, West Virginia. For those of you who might not know what that is, it is part of the girls ministry of the Assembly of God. These events are always so wonderful because the Lord always does great things in the lives of those who attend. Please pray that the messages I preach will touch the hearts of these young girls. Pray that many will be baptized in the Holy Spirit. And pray that I will be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

On Sunday night, I will minister at Marlowe Assembly of God in Falling Waters, West Virginia. This church has welcomed me many times before and I look forward to returning.

This weekend of minister is special in that I will be bringing a young lady, Sarah Hixon, who has just finished her first year at Valley Forge Christian College. (Which, by the way is the best college ever! Can you tell I'm an alumni!) Sarah will be singing and doing human videos. It is a privilege for me to bring this anointed young woman along. Please pray that the Lord will use Sarah in this new adventure.

I read this yesterday in 1 Corinthians 15:11 "...we preach and so you believed." That touched my heart because I am called by God to preach His Word so that others may believe that Jesus is Lord. There is nothing I would rather do than preach the gospel...to all ages.

Thanks again for standing with this ministry.

New Stanton, Here I Come

Good morning everyone. It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

This coming Sunday, I will be preaching all day at New Stanton Assembly of God in New Stanton, Pennsylvania. The church is fasting and praying that the Lord will move in these services. One things I've realized over the years is that when a church prays, the Lord is always faithful to touch lives. Please join your prayers with this congregation that God will do mighty things.

I love the story of David in the Bible. Right now I'm reading through 1 Samuel. What I appreciate about David is that he had victories and defeats in life and the Bible shares them all. Through it all, the Lord was his sustainer and strength. My life is just like that. There are ups and downs but I am thankful that Jesus is with me every step of the journey. He is with you too.
