A Busy Weekend

Good evening everyone. Sleet and rain seem to be on the agenda here this afternoon and as the sun goes down.

I've got an extremely busy weekend. On Saturday morning, I'll be preaching at the ladies conference at Central Assembly of God in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. On Sunday morning, I will be preaching two services at First Assembly of God in Port Jervis, New York and on Sunday evening, I will be speaking at the Walter Hoving Home, which is a division of Teen Challenge in Garrison, New York. As you can tell, I'll be doing a lot of traveling so I ask that you pray that I'll be safe on the highways. Also, pray that the Spirit of God will use me to touch lives and spark people to a move toward a new experience with Jesus Christ. How He longs to touch and change people!

I have been watching on the news the events that are happening all around the world, an earthquake in New Zealand and the revolutions in the Middle East. Let me remind you that Jesus is coming soon! This is not a time to be scared of current events but to realize that the imminent time of Jesus returning will happen. My spirit excited to know that this is true and it also makes me realize that there is still much to be done for the Kingdom of God before He returns. May we be watching and waiting for His return and may we also be working while we wait.

Understanding A Simply Fact

Hello everyone. I've been under the weather the past few days but I'm feeling much better than I was yesterday. Being sick is not something I enjoy.

This coming Sunday, I will be ministering at the Assembly of God in Ellenville, New York where Brenda Cates serves as Pastor. I am believing for the Lord to come and touch lives in a new and fresh way. I am understanding a very simply fact...that Jesus wants to touch and change lives. Miracles can happen today! Please pray that these things will happen this coming Sunday.

I am reading through 2 Kings and this phrase caught my attention today. 2 Kings 11:8 says, "You are to be with the king." In the New Living Translation, it puts it this way, "Stay right beside the king." That is my heart's desire, to stay right beside King Jesus...to go where He goes, to stop when He stops, to be so close to Him that I know His every desire for my life. And when King Jesus returns for His church, I want to be ready to go with Him to heaven. Friends, let me encourage you, especially in this day and age, stay right beside the King!
