Send The Power

Good evening everyone. We are waiting for some more snow here in northeastern Pennsylvania over night and that's no April Fools joke.

This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering at Lighthouse Assembly of God in Paw Paw, West Virginia. It's been several years since I've ministered at this church. I would ask that you pray for God to show up mightily. The power of God is available for people today and it is that power that transforms, heals and baptizes to overflowing. We need the power of God and we need it today.

I finished reading through Deuteronomy this week. There is a wonderful verse that I want to share with you. Deuteronomy 29:29 says, “The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law." I love the fact that the Lord reveals His will, His ways and His word to us and these things belong to us. May the Lord reveal Himself to you in new ways today.

Blessings to you all.

Back To The Basics

Good evening everyone. The sun is just about to set here for the night and I am enjoying the view from my front window.

This coming Sunday through Wednesday, I will be ministering in revival meetings at the Edgewood Assembly of God in Edgewood, Maryland. Their pastor, Stephen Schuessler, has informed me that the people in this church are praying for these meetings. I'm asking that you will join with their prayers that people will be saved, healed and baptized in the Holy Spirit. Some times we just need to get back to the basics of what being Pentecostal is all about. Jesus is a big God who wants to do big things. Believe with us for these meetings.

Deuteronomy is where you will find me reading this week. One of the major themes of this book can be found in Deuteronomy 11:26 which says, "I set before you today a blessing and a curse." The blessing of God comes when we simply obey Him and His word. The curse comes when we choose to disobey and do our own thing which always leads to trouble. What will you choose today? Follow hard after Him and enjoy the blessings of God for yourself...today!

May you be blessed and obedient!

At The Gathering

Today, a wonderful glimpse of spring arrived by way of the weather. I think the Lord smiled on Saint Patrick's Day this year.

This coming weekend, I will be ministering at The Gathering Christian Center in Carbondale, Pennsylvania where Frank Garcia serves as Pastor. On Saturday, I will minister at a ladies event and on Sunday, I will preach to the entire church. Please pray that the Word of God will be powerful and sink deep into the hearts of those who will hear. It's a wonderful privilege to be able to share the life-changing Word of God with people!

This week, I've been reading through the Book of Numbers. In Numbers 13 is the story of when the Children of Israel were on the threshold of entering into the Promise Land. Moses sends 12 spies into the land to bring back a report on their enemies. Ten of the spies bring back a bad report and tell the Israelites that the enemy is too strong for them to overcome. But Joshua and Caleb bring a the good report. Caleb says in verse 30, "Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it." Sadly the Israelites believe the bad report and wander in the dessert for another 40 years. I want to be a modern day Caleb and bring the good report to people today. I want to remind people that as long as God is on our side, we need not fear the enemy but we can go forward and do great things for the kingdom of God. Believe His Word and you will see miracles in your life today.

Go forward, my friends.

Down The Turnpike

Good morning everyone. We made it through the rains last night. I've got my sump pump going in the basement but it's nothing major. Thank the Lord for that!

This Friday through Sunday, I will be ministering at Calvary Assembly of God in Wilmington, Delaware, where my former lead pastor, Pastor Nick Piscitelli, now serves. It is always a joy to work along side this man who for many years was my spiritual covering. Also, the people in this congregation have made me feel very welcome every time I'm there. Please pray that the Lord will bless these meetings with His wonderful presence and that we will all be refreshed in Him.

I just finished reading through the Book of Judges this morning. For the most part, it is a sad commentary on the nation of Israel as they did there own thing instead of following after the Lord. Time and time again, the Lord would send a deliverer to rescue the people from oppression. That amazes me. The same loving God that rescued His people thousands of years ago is the same loving God who desires to rescue people from their spiritual wanderings today. "Rescue us Jesus, from ourselves that we might be wholly devoted to you!"

Remember, Jesus loves you so!
