A clean bathroom is a wonderful thing. Guess what I just got finished doing?
This coming Friday through Sunday, I will be ministering at Beacon of Light Community Church in Old Forge, Pennsylvania, which is the neighboring town to where I live. Please pray that I will be an encouragement to the people in this church and that the Word of God will bring life changing results.
I wrote a statement on my Facebook page earlier this week that drew several responses and that statement was "I'm tired of the devil messing up people's lives". John 10:10 says "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." All the devil wants to do is destroy people as they journey through life. Jesus came that we might truly know what life is all about. I choose life. I choose to live for Jesus. I choose the abundant life that comes from knowing Him.
May your life be filled with His abundance today.

To Millersburg I Go
Good morning everyone. The sun is just rising here in northeastern Pennsylvania and another day is about to begin.
This coming Sunday, I will minister at the Millersburg Assembly of God in Millersburg, Pennsylvania, where Rev. Norm Lawrence serves as lead pastor. Please pray that I will be a blessing to this congregation and that a timely Word from the Lord will be given by me to those who will be there. God is able to speak and touch lives.
I was reading through the love chapter in 1 Corinthians 13 this morning. The Bible speaks about how love is patient and kind. That prods me to allow my actions to others reflect that more. God's love is perfect. Mine is tarnished. His love is giving despite how others may react to us. May the love of God shine through you today.

The Simple Truth of the Cross
I was reading this morning a portion of the Easter story in the Bible. Perhaps it is the devotional I use that caused me to reflect on the following thought. It would be easy for us today to say that it was Pilot, the Pharisees, Judas, the Roman soldiers or the Jews who crucified Jesus. But at its truest level, it was I who crucified my Lord. It was my sin which nailed Him to the cross. It was His love for me that held Him to the tree. I am truly grateful today for the cross of Calvary.
The words to an old hymn race through my mind:
"Lest I forget Gethsemane;
Lest I forget Thine agony:
Lest I forget Thy love for me,
Lead me to Calvary." ~ Hussey
The simple truth is that Jesus willing died on the cross for you and me. May that offer of forgiveness truly excite your soul today. May each of you have a Blessed Resurrection Sunday.

Off to New York
Hello everyone. What a beautiful day it was here in northeastern Pennsylvania. It was nice to get outside and do some yard work.
This coming Friday through Sunday, I will be ministering at Crossway Assembly of God in Woodbourne, New York. Please pray that the Lord will bless the services with His presence, power and grace. When those things are present, anything is possible.
I'm reading through the Book of Deuteronomy this week. What stood out to me today was the way Moses repeatedly told the Israelites that if they would be obedient to the Lord and love Him, then the Lord would take care of them. That still works for the here and now. If we would just be obedient and love God with our whole heart, God will provide and take care of us. That's better than any economic stimulus offered today.
