Good morning everyone. I hope you are all having a wonderful day.
This coming Sunday, I will be preaching at the Clarks Green Assembly of God in Clarks Green, Pennsylvania. I'm grateful for the opportunity to share the Word of God with this congregation as we enter the Holiday season. Pray that I'll be a blessing to this church.
My heart today is filled to overflowing with thanksgiving. Just a few minutes ago, I wrote a small list of things that I am thankful for. I could have kept right on writing. There are so many blessings in my life. I have a relationship with the God and Savior of this world. He has given me a ministry which allows me to travel and share the timeless message of the gospel with many. Good friends and family enrich my life. My home church is so supportive of what the Lord has called me to do. I've been blessed with good health. I have a home, car, clothes and food. The list could go on and on. Having an attitude of gratitude is so vital and important in life. As Christians, we are called to be thankful in all things and to trust the Lord at all times. May we not just be thankful this coming Thursday, but rather may thanksgiving to the Lord spring from our hearts at all times.
I am thankful for those of you who continue to stand with me in prayer. Happy Thanksgiving! Pass me the stuffing, please! :)

Serve Him Today
Good morning everyone. It's a new day filled with new opportunities.
This coming Saturday and Sunday, I will be ministering at Mannings Assembly of God in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, where James Boyce serves as pastor. Please pray that the Lord will bless these meetings and that the fine people of this church will be uplifted and encouraged with the Word that will be preached. People today need to be reminded that the promises of God are valid for today.
I've been reading through the Book of Proverbs this week. It is filled with what I call tidbits of wisdom to help us on our journey through life. This verse resounds with my soul. Proverbs 27:1 says, "Do not boast about tomorrow, For you do not know what a day may bring forth." What I hear in that verse is that we are not guaranteed tomorrow so we must grasp the opportunities that the Lord gives us today. Tomorrow may never come. It is today that we have to serve our Savior. Serve well, my friends.

Have Faith In God
Good afternoon everyone. I just finished the end of the season yard work. The lawn mower is put away until spring.
This coming Sunday through Wednesday, it is my privilege to be ministering at Life Church in Broadway, Virginia, where my old VFCC friends, Pastors Brian and Victoria Gillespie lead this congregation. I always enjoy teaming up with Bible college friends and watching what the Lord will do in people's lives. Please pray that these services will have a sweet presence of the Holy Spirit and that we will freshly encounter the power of God.
This morning, as I was reading through the Book of Mark, I read the following words of Jesus where He said, "Have faith in God." (Mark 11:22) It is right after this statement where Jesus informs His disciples that if we have faith in God, mountains can be removed in our lives. If you are presently facing a mountain and you can't get over or around it, perhaps Jesus wants you to have faith in the fact that He can totally remove it from your life. Believe in Him, my friends. All things are possible to him who believes.

Encouraging Words
Hello everyone. Rain and dreariness is on the agenda today outside.
This coming Sunday, I will be ministering at Mill City Assembly of God where my friends, Pastors Jim and Dorothy Rugg lead this wonderful congregation. Please pray that the presence of the Lord will come in a mighty way. Pray that people will respond to the Word of God and allow its truth to penetrate into their innermost being. The Word and the Spirit bring power, grace and truth.
I'm still working my way through the Minor Prophets. I read this verse this morning from Zechariah 7:9 "Execute true justice, Show mercy and compassion everyone to his brother." People today, both in and out of the church, simply need a word of encouragement to help them through the day. I have determined to be an encourager, to offer words of compassion to those around me. If we simply offered our fellow believers uplifting and edifying words, how much better would their day go. So, let me encourage you today by saying how much I appreciate your prayers for this ministry. You are part of this ministry and someday in heaven, you will reap the rewards.
