Good morning everyone. It's a new day filled with new opportunities.
This coming Saturday and Sunday, I will be ministering at Mannings Assembly of God in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, where James Boyce serves as pastor. Please pray that the Lord will bless these meetings and that the fine people of this church will be uplifted and encouraged with the Word that will be preached. People today need to be reminded that the promises of God are valid for today.
I've been reading through the Book of Proverbs this week. It is filled with what I call tidbits of wisdom to help us on our journey through life. This verse resounds with my soul. Proverbs 27:1 says, "Do not boast about tomorrow, For you do not know what a day may bring forth." What I hear in that verse is that we are not guaranteed tomorrow so we must grasp the opportunities that the Lord gives us today. Tomorrow may never come. It is today that we have to serve our Savior. Serve well, my friends.
