It's Pentecost Sunday....Woohoo!

Hello everyone. I am ever so grateful that the rain held off for me to cut my grass. I love a well manicured lawn.

This coming Saturday and Sunday I will be ministering at New Life Assembly of God in East Greenbush, New York. My friends, Pastor Steve and Jo Pooley assumed the leadership of this church about two years ago. I've never been there before and always welcome the opportunity to minister in a new place to new people. Sunday is Pentecost Sunday so I will be speaking on the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Pray that people will receive this wonderful and powerful gift from God.

Pentecost...I love all that it stands for. As Pentecostals, we are privileged to be empowered by the Holy Spirit. Jesus promised to send us this gift that we might be witnesses for Him. May the wind of the Holy Spirit blow fresh in each of us as we once again encounter a loving and holy God. May the fire of the Holy Spirit burn away our dross and sin. May the rain of the Holy Spirit fill us to overflowing.
